The mesh system has a great app and generally works well, however the handoff between satellites is not very good. I think this hinders devices on the border of satellites like the one in my garage that is well in range, but I lose connection on a number of devices when moving there I assume the variance in my upload is my internet provide, not the product

Product was very easy to set up and now I have wireless coverage to reach entire house and outside grill. Three device allows you to position them through out your home.

Bought this last week on sale for $200. Installed and placed 1 satellite in my room where it tends to be a deadzone. Immediately my speeds went up which was great, HOWEVER, everyday since I've used this product the satellite loses signal and the blue status light turns yellow/orange. Just last night it happened 4 times in the span of 2 hours while I was gaming with friends. Today, why watching MAX on my Xbox it buffered and lagged again, losing signal twice. I really want to love this product as the install was fairly easy and my speeds have increased, but the consistent disconnect is just too frustrating for me. Mind you, the satellite in my room is only about 15ft away from the mesh router! My house is only 970sqft yet it struggles to not drop. I should have just purchased the EERO 6E PRO, more money but after reading reviews from that product it sounds like the extra money would have been money well spent. Oh well, $200 down the drain... if I can manage to fix this issue (doubtful), I will come back and adjust. But until then, 1 star... try a different mesh system until Netgear gets there stuff together!

Really surprised with what a different these make adding better connection with my Internet. Really like I was able to put three throughout my house. One in my living room one in my garage and one upstairs!

Working great. Even strong enough to get to the she shed in our backyard. Comcast said their router alone would be able to reach out there They were wrong thank you Nighthawk. Very satisfied. Dan

This mesh system used to be a great product when I first got it, increasing the range and speeds in certain areas of my apartment for the first 1-2 months but then suddenly our internet started to drop. The app wouldn’t be able to setup the mesh device properly. I would attempt to set it up multiple times but my speeds were never the same and the router wouldn’t be able to connect to the satellites. TL;DR The mesh system is great out of the box but after a month or two, you’ll start experiencing issues. Longevity it is not a great investment and Netgear needs to pull this product from shelves

Honestly this is my second mesh system I’ve bought and I’m still impressed. I bought this system for my parents who needed to have their home internet upgraded, and this product was a quick contender to fix that. The system is easy and quick to setup, no headaches at all. And once everything is up and running, the speed we got, and the range was absolutely incredible. Definitely something to have if you need that widespread wifi coverage at home.

Very easy to set up but if you have a router from your internet service provider (ISP) you may need to have your ISP put the router in bridge mode to make the system work. This is my second Nighthawk system, left the old one in the old house for renters, was able to use that router directly into the ISP modem and my ISP didn’t give me a router. Same ISP but they changed their software for new installs, be ready to call them and have them run diagnostics from their end if you don’t get the system working right away. Once set up has been running without a hitch. You can also download a Nighthawk app through Netgear that lets you monitor your mesh system and all devices on the network.

I switched from a Netgear Nighthawk standalone wifi router to this mesh system and I'm completely happy with this product. I working IT (remotely) so I need a strong signal plus there are teenagers in the house streaming music, movies, and games with no issues or slow downs.

This was easy to install, setup and connect! We have tried other options to stretch our wifi reach but failed. This extended the radius of wifi availability to exceed our needs. Highly recommend.

Before switching to this I was using Xfinity equipment. All I had in this house was a single modem/router unit in my living room. I wish I would have spent more money I think. I have many 2.4ghz items that don't want to stay connected despite the fact there is a satellite within 10 feet or so. Most of those are controls for my saltwater aquarium that never had an issue before. I seem to need to reboot the router biweekly as by that point at least the satellites keep dropping signal. This house is really not that big to be having issues staying connected.

Satellite's Un sync almost daily. Have had to reset the system several times since purchasing in January of 2025. When firmware updates are needed, I have to manually do it through the internet on the router login page. Nighthawk app always states firmware is up to date even when updates are available.

Unfortunately this mesh system is not as strong as my previous system even though it should be according to their specifications.
