Q: Could I plug this into an outlet in our back yard?
A: Yes you can. As long as it’s protected from the elements of course. Make sure your connection light is either white or amber and not red. If it’s red, it’s too far away from your router.

Q: Will this cover a 4000 sq.ft. house?
A: I’m sure it will. I paired this thing with my nighthawk x10 and as long as you have a white light on your WPS indicator, you’ll expand the range significantly for 5G. Even if you had an amber light the 2.4 GHz range would be significant as well but try to keep the WPS light white and you shouldn’t have a problem.
Q: Can this extend my wifi to my guest house that is about 250ft away from my main house?
