Works but

This cooler mostly works as expected. It could cool the room by a few degrees. One major issue is the plastic smell. I let it run in the garage for a couple of weeks, and rinsed the cooling pad several times according to the manufacturer's advice. I can clearly smell it if I come in to the room from outside. I don't know if it's just me or it's the material used.

I bought this for my granddaughter, who lives in a very hot place and has a problem taking heat, Now that it is very hot, she reports that it works so well that it has made her bedroom bearable once again so she can sleep again.

I have for more tha 2 years i had a flood on ida in nyc and this fan was sink into water and didnt suffer no damage still working today

Excellent cooling fan

My A/C went out bought a couple of different brands that supposedly moved more air but had to return. This thing works great as a little swamp cooler and fan once my A/c was fixed. Will be purchasing another to use in master bedroom and no need for a separate humidifier

Okay for a fan but provides no cooling. I've tried multiple different settings and ways to use it. I was one day short on being able to return. Didn't realize Best Buy's return policy was so short.
