Kind of disappointed in this model. I had an older version that stopped working. Upgraded to this model and found that the format is worse than previous model. It does not show all camera views at once but rather a single view. I have tried everything but it cannot be corrected. The app is a bit better but not by much. Next purchase will be a different brand.

It works okay. It's not 100% what I envisioned for a security system. Night Owl customer support is less than. Best Buy Geek Squad was outstanding!

No internet? No work

Doesn’t work unless connected to the internet which I could not do. They say it will, but it doesn’t. Oh and their tech support just randomly hangs up on you when they realize they can’t help

Sorry to hear you are unhappy with this system and of your support experience. The system itself has it's own Wi-Fi network, but that does not require an internet connection. Unfortunately you will not be able to receive mobile alerts as that requires a way to contact you. You also can connect the system to your TV or monitor to view live footage or recordings. We welcome any additional information you can provide about the date and time of the call so we can ensure that is properly addressed with staff.

Best Product EVER!! Highly recommend. We had a knock off brand trying to save some money and I regret I didn't do the Night Owl at the beginning. Super reliable, Super clear. Great installer with Best Buy! Thank you...We have 4 units!
