I like night owl this is my third set it’s the better one the last one you could not communicate through th camera this one you can plus control lighting.

These are the best cameras and easy to use. I have had this system for over 5 years and love it so much that we just purchased it for our business that we are having a problem at that we need to keep tabs on.

These were fairly easy to install in our new build. The cords were plenty long enough, unlike other systems.

I would like to start by saying that it does not deserve even 1 star due to the overall frustration of dealing with Night Owl. I downloaded the Night Owl Protect app to setup the system which is recommended by the maufacturer. As soon as i created an account and logged in the app kept alerting me that it could not connect to the internet. I tried everything logical and searched for answers online and nothing. The issue isnt even the hardware it is the app itself. I uninstalled and kept reinstalling for nothing. Tech support is pointless because the online chat feature did not work. Phone tech support says 24/7 online but when you call it says they are closed after 8pm ET. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT BUY!!!

This is the worst electronics product I have ever purchased. This never worked and support was not able to help. Support told sorry we have exhausted all options and it didnt work, this is not in our hands anymore. Before you buy you should know you need a USB wired mouse, you need an HDMI monitor, and you cannot use surge protectors (must be plugged into wall). Night Owl Support came to the conclusion that I purchased a unit that someone else had already returned. When this happens the unit cannot he reset. Never buy this open box and I would recommend never purchasing any night owl product. This company is terrible.
