Decided to upgrade to a full frame camera and decided to get one piece great glass instead of multiple pieces of mediocre glass. This lens is also quite heavy and it makes the stock lens on my old Canon digital rebel feel like a chintzy toy. Although I have somewhat limited my photo options to landscape shots or close up shots with lots of beautiful smooth bokeh, I am quite happy with the purchase of this lens. This lens also has the potential for retaining or increasing in value years into the future, so it is a win win. I can't say the same for stock lenses.

I selected this lens over the 35/1.4 for my full frame. I love the wide angle and there is zero distortion! I'm still learning how to focus with this lens as it's not swift at it but I knew that before I purchased it. It is just going to take some practice.
