You know by the brand that it is a good camera. It's not too bulky or too small. The zoom is really great and clear. Also has some great features (edits). Overall, very pleased for a beginner camera that takes very good quality pictures. Haven't done much with video yet but also looks good.

I'd been wanting this camera for about a year now, once I saw it was half priced I purchased online and went to go pick it up. So far, I love it!! Every time I go for hikes I take it with me, the pictures are crisp. Even with the zoom in feature it doesn't distort the images. I've gone to two car shows with my camera and WOW! The images I've shared have received so many compliments.

I read reviews before purchasing this product and felt confident that it would be a good purchase for what I wanted. I am not a professional, or even aspiring amateur photographer; what I wanted was a point and shoot that would capture good pictures of my children. In that regard it perfectly fits the bill. Lets be honest, some movement by the fledgling of the species is not able to be adequately captured by an inexperienced photographer, but there is fairly decent video recording for that. I have also had luck with the rapid fire sports setting in the past for movement capture, just make sure you have great lighting or the fast shutter speeds will not capture enough light. Low light settings leave a lot to be desired unless you are capturing still life, but in any sort of decent lighting or with the flash, the capture is great. Very similar to a Nikon Coolpix older model that I previously owned. As far as I can tell, no upgrades from the previous model, just different control panel and buttons. On my older model I was able to mess with the settings enough to get really clear, crisp pictures and usually to focus where I wanted it to, even though its a automatic focus camera. Hopefully I will be able to do the same with this one, but haven't used it enough to be able to tell yet. Overall, good value for price, good capture for anyone who doesn't want to do their own focusing, and good pixel settings for a digital camera.

I just visited Montana and took loads of pics with my new Coolpix. The quality is Nikon. Great. However, what I really like most about this camera is that is small, light and easy to use. I took the manual with me but the camera is design is so intuitive, I never needed.

I like Nikon Coolpix cameras this is my third one and they seem to get what consumers want for their price point. Pros: - Low Price - Great resolution (20.2 megapixels) - Compact enough to travel around with it - A magnificent zoom (28x) - Pre-set scenarios where they adjust the ISO and the white balance. Cons: - No viewfinder - Very little memory - Audio quality so-so - Lens cover violations are irritating (some of you users know what I mean) Don't pay over $165 for it and try out the Canon equivalent before buying.

Nikon is a camera brand I recommend to all. This is my 4th Nikon Camera Purchased. Quality of pictures is above average. Its easy to learn the functions of the camera. The zoom qualities is very good. The only down side to this camera in my own opinion is the usage of 4 Double A batteries instead of a battery pack. Be advised, by rechargeable batteries. Overall, good pictures, good camera.

Learning to use this camera is not too complex, making it relatively easy to take good pictures in a short time. Not too heavy, so holding it steady to take good pictures is also easy. I got this camera for an upcoming anniversary trip. Should be able to take lots of pictures to remember our 20th. More than enough features to make photography interesting and fun, too.

This was an amazing steal at best buy, so i had no hestiation to buy it when the price dropped. It is a value for money cam, and the pics are crystal clear plus easy to use. Only drawback is lack of rechargeable battery.

Purchased the camera at the Best Buy in Surprise, Arizona last month while on vacation. Takes great shots, is easy to use and has a good built in focus that my wife used on the plane trip back to North Dakota.

I bought this camera for a 3 week trip to Ecuador, for a family of six and let me say it was awesome. We got some beautiful beach shots as well as nighttime shots outdoors with flash and they were great, some indoors with fluorescent lighting and no flash were mediocre so flash at night is a must. The zoom was great for getting some up close shots. Let's be clear, this is an entry level camera but for someone that knows zero about photography, I was extremely pleased with the pictures. It's a little slow between shots so that makes it tricky with my 1 and 2 year olds but we made due. Hands down get it. We caught it on sale for $99

Was looking for a camera to take out of town nothing too expensive didnt need it to take great pics just need something to give my phone a rest a times. Came across this camera for $99 took fairly good pics not great for catching action flash did great for night pics not too many picture modes for $99 used it at my daughter's graduation and a Florida vacation worked great for me. I pretty much knew what I was buying for $99 and I did read reviews and watched youtube vids. It worked great for me I alternated between the camera and my phone camera and they both came out great, couldn't be happier.

Not the top of the line, obviously but a functional and nice little camera. Form factor is well designed and battery life is way beyond my expectations for AA batteries. Pictures are crisp in daylight and flash works well enough for indoors. Don't expect to be taking amazing nighttime pictures with this camera. It's just not what it's designed for. And again. Not the right price range

I have only used it a few times, but that is enough to know that it is easy to use. It is definitely a good "Point and Shoot" camera. I just needed a camera to use occasionally for taking family and around the house pictures, and then uploading them to my PC. This camera serves that purpose well and provides good picture quality.
