D7500. Is amazing I blown away. I have a D -3000. Fantastic camera to. , still a powerful camera for beginners and a low budget. The 7500 still uses the same lens f mount dx vr auto manual. Lens still the same as today. I did not need to get new lens. Nikon is one of the best to there customers, Most companies with new tech, the make it that they change the mount, and you have to replace all your lenses, with new. Nikon god bless is for the customer fist. To you to want to get the next one from them. Two lens that I did not have to replace. 18-55. 50-200 dx af lens that are the same as you get new today. In the Dx line. I hope you will love yours as much as me. I have it just a few days. I hope I help in anyway. Megan

Purchased on the first day it was available in stores and couldn't be more pleased. Upgraded from an entry-level Nikon DSLR which I found to be a nice camera, but I needed more speed to keep up with my sons' swimming. I considered the D500 for its speed (10 fps), but decided the D7500's speed (8 fps) was more than sufficient, and the price of the 7500 vs. the D500 couldn't be beat. Also, who doesn't like having the newest thing available?

I think the D7500 by Nikon is the perfect happy medium. I'm an amateur photographer...definitely not a pro. I like a camera that has great image quality, but doesn't break the bank, and isn't super heavy or large to carry on a long hike. On the other hand, I like to have some flexibility with lenses, etc. I paired this with the Nikon 10-20mm wide angle lens (great for real estate photos) as well as the 18-400mm zoom lens by Tamron. Both lenses were on sale @ Best Buy, and I paid $899 for the D7500 body. The 18-400 is waterproof and dust proof, just like this D7500 body. That makes it great as an outdoors camera, and I do a lot of biking and biking, so it seemed the perfect match for me (being lightweight and somewhat compact). I will post as many sample pics as possible to let you see for yourself. The image quality is amazing. The sharpness is super impressive!

I ordered this and picked it up same day within a couple hours. This camera is so much fun. I upgraded from a D3100 and didn't realize how big of an upgrade this was. I have not needed to charge since the initial, after probably 800 shots, I may have bought one too many extra batteries. Took the time to find all customizable settings which was also a game changer

Volunteered to photograph my son's freshman football team - knew I needed to upgrade my gear. Read many reviews, tested a few, and then I took a leap and spent more than I planned - haven't looked back since. The D7500 does not disappoint! It delivers amazing images. They are rich, vibrant, and professional; ergonomics are great. To date, I have only used it for sports photography, but it will be my primary camera from here on out. Get this camera, you will not regret it. BTW, I've been asked to shoot JV and Varsity now too (maybe this camera is too good).

Great product. Especially for the price. I needed a quick upgrade from my D90 as it had over 450,000 photos on the body (and still works) I wanted something more modern. This fit the bill. It’s a great crop sensor camera with so many features. It’s a quick favorite and I highly recommend. I’ll eventually upgrade but will certainly be using this one often. And the battery life is incredible! I have 5 batteries. I switched half way through a 5 hour shoot and it still showed it had about 40% of the battery life. I was shocked.

I got this after buying a mirrorless camera. I feel the need to hold something larger like only a normal sized DSLRs do. This is also not my first Nikon so I was able to use my old lenses! It’s a huge step up from my old D60. I just wish the screen can flip so you can do a selfie. This is meant to be used to capture something, not yourself (unless you used a tripod and a timer or video).

I got this camera because I like taking pictures as a hobby. I think this is an excellent camera for a beginner/hobby. It is very important to read the manual or watch a YouTube video to use the camera to its full potential. I definitely recommend this camera.

I love this camera. I have been wanting to start photography for a long time now, and have searched the internet for hours looking for the right camera to start on. I wanted one that would serve me well even as I progress, rather than a point and shoot “beginner” camera. Many people recommended I go with a more simple camera like the canon rebel, but like many people I didn’t want to be limited with what I could do down the road. The D7500 shoots amazing pictures, has a user friendly interface, and is a blast to use. it shoots amazing photos at higher iso than similar cameras in its price range. I was worried that the slightly lower megapixels than some similar cameras might make for less quality pictures, but I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the pictures turned out. I am still working through some basic concepts of photography, but have already been able to take nice photos because of this cameras shutter speed. It is especially great for quick subjects like birds. Here are a couple photos I slightly edited in Lightroom, but the RAW’s on my computer are even more clear. I would 100% recommended this camera.

This camera was an upgrade from a model we have had for several years. It has many of the same features but they have been improved and several new features added. I really like the speed and the low light ability without needing to always use the flash. I do primarily bird photos and the speed and lighting are very important. I have also taken photos of children "on the move," and they have turned out great.

This a really great camera. I upgraded from a Nikon D3400 entry level camera since the lenses I had would be interchangeable. While the D3400 had a higher resolution, the D7500 shots I've taken are so much crisper and have a much great depth of field. I still haven't learned about all the bells and whistles yet but paired with a good lens (Tamron 18-400mm) I feel like I could eventually take professional looking pix at an enthusiast price. I was thinking of the D500 too but it was more camera than I needed. (I'm not a professional/wanna be.) I needed something that would help me take better photos of birds/wildlife, the D7500 does that and more. A couple of down sides: the flash sometimes is annoying when in auto and the weight especially with a telephoto lens is more than I was used to with the really light D3400. I would also not upgrade to this camera if I had the D7200. I'm really glad I upgraded because the fast shutter speed, the 10 fps and the great and quick auto focus all make the D7500 a best buy.

I take pictures as a hobby and i wanted something good that would not break the bank and boy did I find it! I take pictures of the kids soccer games and then share them with the team. I've had parents ask for a photo shoot. Great camera for beginners and hobbiest.

I bought this as an upgrade from my D3200. I've been looking at the specs between the full frames and the DX frames. I finally decided to go with this. Same sensor and processing engine as their flagship D500. I still consider myself as a beginner and I've yet to unlock the potential of this camera. The few weeks that I've owned this camera, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I can tell the picture quality were amazing the moment I took my first shot from this camera.
