Even though this macro flash kit is pricey it is worth the cost. With a true macro lens (mine Nikon 105 macro) this flash will enable you to take many images handheld due to the flash short duration freezes any motion of subject or photographer. Controller commands flashes thru IR light flashes, works with the other iTTL Flash units from Nikon as well! Anyone who is serious about their macro results would benefit from this Nikon flash kit.

I love this Nikon Flash system. It comes with a gorgeous and practical carrying case. The case is very sturdy and has compartments where each item fits neatly. To use it, it has a bit of a learning curve but the results are worth the extra effort. My macro photography is so much better now when I use this flash system.

For my work, dentistry, it has not been ever better photos woth my nikon d5300 with this twin flash. Very good photos for minimal details.
