I think a lot of other ppl have already talked about the heat issue, and my experience is the same. I didn't use a cooling pad/stand and did a lot of graphic-intensive stuff, which caused mine to shut down prematurely. Nimo sent me a new one very very quickly though, so it wasn't a big problem. I'm using this mainly for college but it does handle light gaming very well. I noticed more graphic-intense games (ex: Genshin, HSR) will cause the laptop to heat very quickly, though. But it's been about 8 months since they sent me the replacement and it's been great with a cooling pad so far. If you want a solid work/school laptop with light gaming on the side, this is perf!!

Everything has been great so far. You can't beat the price, especially in this day and age! I'm not thrilled with the keyboard layout. I'm used to having an enter by the nine key, that's been throwing me off. I get that it's to save space Another issue was the page up/down keys require the numock key. Why not function + up or down? This is the only time since the mid 90s I've had to worry about the using numlock key.

I needed a new laptop for work, casual gaming and browsing, as well as some creative stuff. This is perfect. While I haven't fully tested the gaming capabilities yet, this has better specs than my previous laptop and that one was able to run what I play so I imagine this will do so better. I have done work, browsing and creative stuff and can confirm this is wonderful for that. The 180 hinge screen makes it easy for my to work on creative stuff, the ports make it easy to hook up everything I need for work and some. Battery life is good, charge is quick. The backlit keyboard is a GAMECHANGER for someone who works later at night sometimes or is up writing stuff at midnight in the dark. The design itself seem fancy. I enjoy the sleep button so easily accesible as well as all other must need buttons. I use a number pad often for work and had no issues adjusting to this one. The build quality seems sturdy. I color is a perfect pretty muted rose gold. It's fast for everything I need, boots up in literal seconds every time. I love this thing, its a nice upgrade, pretty to look at, cute logo, works well. Shipping was fast too.

I am a cybersecurity student and this machine can do it all. I use it to play games, log into remote virtual machines, do labs, everything and it is a beast. It has definitely helped me as a student and I havent had any issues at all. Definitely recommended, especially with such good specs for the price,, this laptop for me was a no brainer.

Great entry level gaming laptop at an unbeatable price. May have to lower graphics settings a little bit but I'm good with that. I'm a casual gamer playing mostly mid tier games and got this to use on the go.

Exactly what I needed, a high powered laptop at a more affordable price. It's great for making digital artwork and for playing video games, and it handles most of the games I play very well even with the highest graphics settings. Any AAA games would definitely lag unless you reduced the graphics, but for the games I play it works really well and they look great on the screen. My only disappointment is that the material seems like it will scratch pretty easily. I love the look of the rose gold, but right away it started to look a little scuffed up just from carrying it against a notebook. It isn't super noticeable, but does cause some concern as to how easily it'll be scratched up. Overall though, I'm very impressed with the power of this laptop for the price, I'll definitely be recommending this brand to others.

Very happy with my computer.

Does everything I wanted it to do and more. Have had it for over a week now and its been great, zero issues with it. Handles lower intensity games such as Minecraft, Roblox and Raid Shadow Legends with no issues. If you go up a tier to titles like Path of Exile 2 then you'll need to lower the graphics settings but still is great and obviously there other tiers of laptops on Nimo if youre looking for more intense gaming capabilities.

Unfortunately It wouldn't boot up after the first day after use. Looking forward to getting it back soon, so I can have a computer again..

Bare bones was a good opportunity to teach daughter how to install memory, SSD, OS, drivers, and setup a non bloated system before school started.

Good buy better than I expected .

I have been using the 32gb 1tb version of this model for over a month now. I purchased it on sale for $600. This is a good laptop. There are very few downsides here. I previously had an acer predator from 2018 with a 7th gen intel i7 and an nvidia gpu, which is a comparable mid-range gaming laptop... from 7 years ago. I liked that computer, and I thought it was future-proofed, but apparently not, because support for Windows 10 was going to run out in Oct 2025, and I needed to get a replacement before then. The cutoff was 8th gen intel. Bummer. So I found myself in the position of having to buy a new laptop in order to ensure continued security updates. I spent over $1000 for that mid-range gaming laptop in 2018, and while it did have a dedicated gpu, in many other ways, it is well and truly outdated compared to this bad boy from NIMO. That computer only had 256gb of SSD due to the priciness of SSDs at the time, and there are myriad cpu features that this 2022 AMD has that were unheard of only four years earlier. I am able to run some AAA titles with an ease that feels almost too good to be true. Moreover, my 2018 predator was a BEAST in size comparison to this model, even though they both share the same screen dimensions. My NIMO N155 feels like an airbook. It runs with such little heat and with such a quiet fan that I barely hear anything even when I am clocking at high speeds. This clocks at a base speed of 3.2 GHz which is faster than the max clock speed of my previous. I am amazed at how far we have come in such a short amount of time. I have few complaints about the build quality and features, but there are some tradeoffs. The keyboard took a bit of getting used to, particularly due to the numpad's odd design. I regret not checking more closely on it, because I consider a numpad to be a dealbreaker on a laptop. Yes, this has one, but if you look closely, you will find that there is not a second "Enter" key on the bottom right of the numpad (which is standard), the plus, minus, and period keys are not in their normal places, AND the home and end keys are only pressable by disabling the num lock. That means you have to constantly turn num lock on and off as you are typing/editing anything that involves numbers. It is very inconvenient. You might argue that all the functionality is still there, and so as long as you keep practicing, you will eventually develop the muscle memory to use it efficiently. However, after over a month, I still have yet to develop that skill. Another tradeoff here is the lack of wifi 6. But the price is still only $600. And so far, these are the ONLY tradeoffs I have found. Considering I am paying over $400 less in 2025 dollars for a superior computer, I could not be happier with my purchase. It's worth pointing out that NIMO is an American brand - when I originally saw the price, I naturally assumed that I was looking at a cheap Chinese brand (the sleazy anime graphics on the cover photo also didn't help).
