I recently moved into a camper and I have been very worried about using the gas oven. This oven is amazing it cooks so well. It has enough room for prime rib at Christmas and cooked it perfectly. We have used both top and bottom to cook in at the same time and both cooked wonderfully. It will get used all the time.

I bought mostly to assist for holiday dinner. I made my stuffing in it and worked beautifully! I tested it before the holiday and made homemade mac n cheese and baked perfectly! Love it!

Great oven Ninja. Being single it allow me to bake foods without having to turn on full size one. The top oven is small but handy. Bottom oven bigger and air fryer one.

There is a learning curve to the Ninja Double Stack XL Countertop Oven; however, after a little practice, it is a pleasure to use. The most redeeming feature is the ability to cook two different items at different temperatures and length of cooking times simultaneously. It is large enough to handle a 9 x 13 dish which is very convenient. It fits nicely on our countertop.

This product is AMAZING!!! The pre heat time is super fast!!! the cooking modes Go HARD!! If you not air frying or baking air boiling in a ninja what is you cook for!!!!

Purchased this to replace the oven and my air fryer in my travel trailer to save room. Works absolutely perfect. Not only did i save room but now i have a ton more cooking options

This is the best countertop oven/airfryer that we have ever owned. It is easy to use and cooked our fish and hand cut French fries to perfection. I used both the top and bottom and both items were finished at the same time.

This has been awesome..so good that i cant specify how good it its lolz. No trouble trouble trying to switch from one platform to another and easy to use and comprehend. You should go for it. Stop hesitating

I love it! Able to bake cookies on top while dinner cooks on bottom. So cool! Just wish it was a bit bigger so my large pasagna dish would fit.

The oven works great especially the bottom cooks better than the top. The top oven takes a little longer to cook. The problem with the oven is that when you only cook in the bottom oven and nothing is cooking in the top oven you get a lot of moisture on the top door and around it. We have had the oven for almost a year now and the top around where the glass door seals looks like it is rusting from the moisture and we do wipe the top door off after cooking in the bottom. I would never buy another double oven again for this reason.

The Ninja Double Stack XL Countertop looks huge on arrival. when i first got it, i thought it'd be way too big to fit on my counter top and much too bulky to replace my current toaster oven. As can be seen in the pictures, despite looking quite different in size, it isn't much different. width was pretty much the same, all i lost was height, but I'm not putting stuff on top anyways (and you wouldn't want to anyways because of how hot the top gets) This air fryer/oven combo is pretty sweet. it looks really sleek and you can either open just top the top door when using the top or both if you are needing the bottom section. the buttons have a nice feel to them that don't feel cheap. Despite having rubber feet, it slides around quite a bit on my counter top. i ended up getting a mat that also helps protect the countertop from heat in addition to preventing slippage. Because the door is so sturdy, without the mat, when i try to pull down the door to open the oven, it usually just pulls the oven forward. User interface is pretty straight forward but a bit of a curve. you press top or bottom to turn the machine on and then can just twist the dial to what setting you want and push. from there you can tweak temp and time by selecting the button then using the dial to adjust. press the dial to confirm choice. Temp / Time also doubles as toast darkness and number of slices. these will take some trial and error to get right for how you like your toast. default was 3 shade 4 slices. i had to go down to shade 2, 2 slices, even when using 4 slices because it was a little too darkened for my liking. would suggest going just lower than what you think to test so you don't waste food its great having two areas to cook to prevent letting one dish get cold while the other is cooking. I like that i can make sure they end at the same for convenience. I tested this out with nuggets and pizza bagels. nuggets needed about 4 more minutes and they both came out perfectly. The air fryer basket is quite large, i was able to comfortably fit about 24 dinosaur nuggets and because it was using air fryer mode instead of oven, there's no need to flip. The two baking trays are about 11x11 and also fit quite a large amount. I was able to put on 24 pizza bagels. i was able to make a tray of fresh fries using 4 potatoes cut to 1/4" thickness and they all spread nicely across the entire basket. you can fit a lot of food in this oven. I ended up getting a tray liner for the black trays to make cleanup easier. in the bottom portion you can put that under the air fryer basket to catch any crumbs/drippings. When your food is done and its turned off, the screen will say "HOT" which is nice reminder as you are cleaning up and whatnot so you can be mindful not to touch. The sides and top on the outside get surprisingly hot during cooking and stay hot for quite a long time after you're all done. My existing toaster oven doesn't stay that hot for that long. not sure if all air fryer's take a long time to cool down, so this could be normal. the poor gripping feet and excessive heat are what cost a star but that could just be me and my kitchen. just something to be mindful of. Regardless, this is an amazingly capable oven and fryer that has a high capacity for family meals.

Years ago, my favorite oven had a smaller, thinner oven (like a pizza oven) on top with a larger, more standard-sized oven below. We sold that oven in a house sale and have never had anything like that again. Since then, we’ve become very dependent on a countertop oven that sees more usage than our regular oven by far. Our existing countertop oven has been great, but Ninja just came out with an update to their oven that combines the best of all of these: a dual countertop oven with loads of features! **Size** Since you’re probably putting this under your kitchen cabinets, you’ll want to know the size of this oven. Ninja lists the dimensions as follows: 18.6 in L x 16.39 in W x 13.26 in H. By comparison, my previous oven was 11.6” tall, so the Ninja Double Stack adds a small second oven while not giving up much on the height of the main oven, and only adds about 1.25” to the height! For me, this was a big deal, since if it won’t fit under my cabinets, it has no place in my kitchen. The top oven compartment is ideal for baking small items such as pizza or dinner rolls or a tray of vegetables. It is definitely meant for those kinds of things, so keep that in mind. Trying to put taller items in there will result in the food touching the top and getting burned. **Controls** Ninja has done a good job of not overloading the panel with controls. Both ovens have their own time and temp buttons, and there is a dial for selecting things like cooking programs. There are 3 additional buttons for the thermometer: preset, doneness and manual. More on these later. There is one additional control, for turning on the Smart Finish feature, which allows the oven to time the completion of top and bottom ovens so that they’ll finish at the same time. **Features** The Ninja Doublestack XL includes 12 cooking programs: Bake, Broil, Reheat, Keep Warm, Toast, Bagel, Air Fry, Conv.Bake, Pizza, Air Roast, Whole Roast, and Dehydrate. These are selected by turning the dial to highlight your choice in the program list. One thing I think is pretty striking is the display. Unlike most competing ovens, there is no screen on the face of the oven. Instead, information shines through the brushed nickel finish! Before I turned it on, I assumed there was no display, but couldn’t imagine how I would know what choices to make (would it be a series of beeps?). This is a great design decision and contributes to the sleek, modern look of the oven. New for this year is a plug-in thermometer. The oven features a small port on the side (like a headphone jack) where you can plug in the thermometer. Insert the thermometer in the middle of the meat, then use the thermometer preset button to choose fish, beef, chicken or pork. You can also choose a small or large size (bottom oven only), and a doneness level (rare, medium, etc.). The choice of doneness level determines the internal temperature setting for the meat. The chicken setting only allows one temperature—165 degrees. The manual button allows you to set a temperature to whatever you like. There is also a button labeled “Smart Finish” which ensures that both ovens finish at the same time. Details about this in the next section. **Performance** I’ve been using my Ninja Foodi grill to air fry French fries, so I wanted to see how the Double Stack would compare. Using the included air fry basket, I cooked up a batch of French fries that were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, easily as good as the results I get from the Foodi, but with less clean-up. Next, we prepared some meals using the thermometer. We dialed in the settings as described above for the top oven, then chose the settings for the bottom oven. The last step was pressing the Smart Finish button and pressing start. The oven with the shorter cooking time was automatically placed on hold while preheating the other oven. A progress bar showed how things were going on the bottom oven, while the internal temperature of the meat was shown for the top oven. Smart Finish ensured that both ovens finished at the same time—super convenient! More impressive was that if I made a change to the settings for either oven during the cook, it would recalculate the total time and adjust accordingly. After turning out multiple successful meals this way, we may just cook this way all the time. Random thoughts: using the top oven as a toaster also worked well, but it does take some experimentation to find settings to your liking. One advantage a regular toaster has is that it’s easier to get items out that are not laying on an oven rack. Preheating time in the top oven was only 3 minutes to reach 350 degrees, much faster than our large traditional oven. Convection airflow is noticeable in this oven, which I appreciated, coming from a previous oven that I was never sure actually circulated any air. This makes for speedy convection baking times. **Negatives** There really aren’t many, but I’ll mention two. A roast tray is not included, but really should have been, since that’s a needed accessory for roasting a whole chicken. The handle on the door, while being very attractive, is actually too big. When the door is laid down to pull food out of the oven, the handle prevents the door from laying flat, and that can make it a bit tricky to navigate the hot surfaces. **Conclusion** The Ninja Double Stack XL oven is an upgrade in multiple ways, and I’m very glad to have gotten it. We’ve had several Ninja kitchen accessories, and they’ve done it again with this one. Like all our other Ninja accessories, the Double Stack oven is built superbly and includes a plethora of thoughtful features that make it a joy to use. The only thing limiting our usage is when we need to cook a very large dish, but thankfully that’s rare. If you’re looking for a countertop oven, I’m not sure you can do better than this versatile model.

This small oven is great. It has a dual action that can cook two different foods at different temperatures and times. The setup is easy and the features are very simple to follow. It also features a release button for the top portion of the small oven. This helps in case you need to access the top portion of the oven while the bottom is in use or not. According to the manufacturers suggestion, the top portion should be used for small items or to toast. The top of the oven has the options of cooking using several methods like Broil, toast, bagel, bake, reheat and just keep warm. The bottom of the oven has the option of Roasting, Air Roast, Air Fry, Convection Bake, Pizza, and Dehydrate. This oven design is great because it can keeps the temperature and smells apart from each other. That way your cookies wont have a salmon smell. The oven comes with a cooking basket, two level grills, two pans, and one crumb pan. It also comes with a external thermometer to help with monitoring thicker meats like steaks, chicken, pork and turkey. Overall this is a great addition to the kitchen. I've used it every day to cook a quick lunch and even make bacon.

I've been using the Ninja Double Stack XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer for a few days now, and so far I am impressed by what I have seen so far. The dual-level cooking system is truly amazing and a time saver, allowing me to prepare multiple dishes at once without having to juggle between different appliances. For instance, I can air fry chicken wings on one level while baking potatoes on the other, saving both time and effort. The Pro Cook System is incredibly reliable, taking the guesswork out of cooking and ensuring perfectly cooked meals every time. Whether I'm air frying, baking, roasting, or grilling, the results are consistently exceptional. The food comes out crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. One of my favorite features is its user-friendliness. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, even for those with little cooking experience. The flexdoor feature creates two independent ovens, so you can access just the top oven for quick snacks and meals, or open the full door to use both ovens. The Double Stack XL has a large selection of heating options and the versatility of two ovens to use, even at the same time. Design The Double Stack XL has a clean stainless steel look with nice, large windows to see in the two, distinct, ovens. The controls are all on the right side, split top and bottom for the top and bottom oven respectively. The top has one level to put things on, which makes sense due to the space. The bottom has two levels to put things on. The top oven has heating elements on the top and the bottom. The bottom oven has no visible heating elements, and I think relies on the air circulation with vents on the back and right side of the inside of the bottom oven. Both the top and the bottom ovens have a light in the back that illuminates the inside very well - there's a dedicated light button at the bottom right of the controls. It has a crumb tray for the top oven. There's no crumb tray for the bottom oven but that oven isn't for toasting and, because there are no heating elements in it, it's easy to wipe out if needed. The door splits in an interesting way to accommodate the top and bottom oven. If you just pull the handle, the top and bottom oven are then opened. If you press the button on the handle and then pull the handle, only the top oven opens. This works very well but it does mean that you cannot open the bottom oven without opening the top oven. Since food you would make on the top oven tend to take less time then food in the bottom oven, it's probably not a big problem. There is a "Smart Finish" button that makes both the top and bottom oven finish at the same time. I think that's a great feature to have and neat way to take advantage to two separate ovens in one small appliance! The display on the control doesn't even look like it's there until you turn it on and use it. Words and numbers appear over/through what looks like stainless steel. I'm not sure how they do that but it looks cool and is easy to read. If you were going to use it in direct sunlight I'm not sure how visible it would be, but I think it makes the Double Stack XL looks more clean. The heating elements in the top oven look like they are designed to distribute heat more evenly, but they also seem like they would be harder to clean over time. Controls and Display The buttons are very easy to read and press. You start with the "Top" or "Bottom" button to turn on the respective oven controls. There's a nice, large, dial at the bottom to select the cook mode. Press on the dial to select. Press a button for "Cook", ""Time", "Shade", or "Slices" and then use the same dial adjust cook time or temperature. As mentioned above, you can use the "Smart Finish" button to synchronize the top and bottom ovens so that they both finish at the same time. I really like the way the controls are easy to use and the way you don't even see the display until you turn it on but the display is easy to read when it's on. When you have an item in each oven you will see both cook times. You can also adjust temperature or time while things are already being cooked. As mentioned above, there is a dedicated light button at the bottom right of the controls which works very well to illuminate both the top and bottom ovens. I included a picture where I'm baking a frozen pizza in the top oven and air frying French Fries in the bottom oven. Features The following items are included: - 2 wire racks - 2 sheet pans - 1 air fry basket - 1 crumb tray - Temperature probe and holder The biggest features of this oven for me is somewhat obvious but important - the way that in a relatively small kitchen appliance you can heat two completely different things in two totally different ways at the same time, even using "Smart Finish" to end them at the same time, if you want. I listed the temperature probe and holder because I do love this! A holder is included that you wrap the probe around, and it's magnetic, so you can stick the holder on either the left or right side or the top, wherever it fits and is convenient. I like having accessories and places to store them. I have a picture of it on the side of my Double Stack XL. Baking, Toasting, Air Frying I've been very happy with the results of things I tested this toaster oven with. From baking cookies to air frying a frozen, deep-dish pizza, the Double Stack XL gives lots of great heating options and produces very good results. I dumped a whole bag of frozen French fries in the air fryer tray and made them in the bottom oven while making a thin, pepperoni, frozen pizza in the top oven. Even with them dumped in they were loose enough and the tray allowed for enough air flow that the fries got done very well. None were burnt and they got toasted nicely. A few here and there that were in clumps didn't get fried the same way but they weren't cold. Excellent results for the air fryer! I like having such a large air fry tray to spread things around in, that's what allowed so many fries to get done so well. They seemed to be done evenly too in the tray. I also tried making a thin crust frozen pizza in the bottom oven. That seemed to get done more in the back left and front right. It was good and heated through but it would have been good to turn it half way. I made the same kind of thin frozen pizza in the top oven (recommended in the manual for frozen pizza) and that heated very well, and a bit more evenly I think. I tried a think crust frozen pizza in the bottom oven and that was definitely done more in the back. Rotating it half way would have been a good idea. It got very hot through, even though I had it on one of the included trays and not directly on a rack. I had it on the second level, 350 degrees, for 32 minutes. The box said 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. I think if I rotated it half way and did it for 30 minutes it would have been perfect. It was still really good! The cheese in the back was just dark. The first thing I made was a bagel. I used the "Bagel" mode and then got distracted. I didn't even watch and the default setting was "4", which was too long, and it started smoking and got mostly black. After that, I made another bagel with the "Bagel" setting but set it on "2" instead of the default "shade" setting of "4" and it was heated well. So think it's fine as a toaster but just be aware that the default setting, if you do not change it, may burn your toast or bagel. Pictures I've included four pictures. One showing a thin frozen pizza baking in the top oven while I'm air frying French fries on the bottom oven. One picture shows chocolate chip oatmeal cookies (fairly large ones) in the oven and another picture with the cookies when they were done - and very good. There is also the picture I mentioned above of the thermostat on the side of the Double Stack XL. Two of the pictures can give you a good idea of the lighting in the ovens as well. Summary I think the Double Stack XL is a feature rich toaster oven/air fryer/counter top oven. I was very happy with the results in general, but some things, like pizza, I would rotate half way through. The versatility of the different cook modes, and two ovens that can be used at the same time, add a lot of value and make this a great kitchen appliance!

This is a great multipurpose air fryer/oven/toaster. It cooks quickly and both layers can be operated independently which opens up a lot of flexibility for cooking larger meals. It’s a lot bigger than your standard toaster oven, but the additional functionality more than makes up for that large size. The package includes the oven, 2 sheet pans, 2 wire racks, an air fry basket, 1 crumb tray, and an integrated thermometer. This oven is quite large compared to a conventional toaster oven, but I was able to fit it under my kitchen cabinets in the place of my toaster without having to move too much around. The power cable is a little over 3 feet long. The cook functions are navigated via a single knob that rotates and clicks and then additional functions are selected related to time/temp or whatever applies on that particular mode on 2 additional buttons. You can select the top or bottom ovens and set them up independently or simultaneously. The Smart Finish option also lets you set up the cooking so that both ovens finish at the same time. The menus and navigation seemed a little complex at first, but I was pretty dialed in on it after a couple of minutes and it felt intuitive after that. The top oven is mostly a conventional toaster oven and has variations on bake and toast functions. The baking is not as fast as the bottom oven, but it still works well and preheats quickly. As a toaster it’s fantastic, especially for bagels. The bottom oven is the larger of the two and has all the air fry functionality. As an air fryer it works great - even better than the Ninja Speedi we have been using. It also works great as a convection oven. We’ve made pizza, brownies, vegetables, and various frozen appetizers on it and they’ve all turned out great. In the week or we’ve had it and with daily use it’s stayed pretty clean. According to the manual, the sheet pans are hand wash only and hand washing is recommended for the air fry basket. I will say the sheet pans have been through my dishwasher a few times now before I found out they were not dishwasher safe and they seemed to have held up well, but the manual warns that the finish can degrade in the dishwasher, so hand wash it is from here on out. Some miscellaneous items: - I have not had a chance to try any of the thermometer functionality yet, but I love that it’s built-in and that the oven lets you cook meat to specific ‘doneness’ levels. - As the oven ends its cooking cycle, the lights will gently turn on, which is a nice touch. - The oven includes a recipe book with 15 different recipes ideas made specifically to utilize both of the ovens. - With this oven the fans are on the side and not the back, so it’s something to keep in mind in terms of how you are turning your food if that's something you need to do. Overall I’m really happy with this oven. The 2-layer oven system combined with our conventional oven is going to make larger meals a lot simpler to handle. The amount of versatility you get from this oven is great and it replaces both my toaster and my air fryer, so it’s not contributing to my kitchen gadget glut. And being more compact it works so much better in situations where you don’t need a full size oven, which for my household of 2 is most of the time. I’d definitely recommend it.

I have no idea where this thing has been all my life and why I have never owned one but I'm glad I have it now. The ninja duel air fryer convection oven combo XL is the world's greatest invention. If it didn't come out of a box I would have swore it came from God Himself. First things first right out of the box you get a little booklet that tells you the important safety instructions and so on and so forth. Once you have read that for about 2 seconds you move on to the menu book where you find all the goodies, yummies and everything that you can do with this. I've had it running and operational in my house for 2 days and my children believe that I am a better cook than Gordon Ramsay. My salmon that I usually do in a pan came out ridiculously perfect. I will never put salmon in a pan ever again. The stainless steel and double door opening capability gives it a very aesthetic feel and sleek look to any kitchen. Even though those panels look like they're just silver panels. They're actually a little digital light up display showing you the time, temperature, and whatever else you have highlighted from the top or bottom option. I haven't had a chance to use the smart finish option yet, but if it's anything like the actual stop and go function of this combo I can't wait to see what I can do. I did undercook two things but that's just getting your timing down with your new tools. I recommend it if you don't have this or even a knockoff of this. You need to get to it ASAP. This is an amazing product and it belongs in every kitchen in America.
