With an all new vertical design, the Ninja Doublestack XL fryer allows you to cook up to 4 foods at once in a form factor that is much more narrow than comparable sized fryers. It has 10QT capacity, using individual 5QT baskets, that can be configured with removable grill spacers that allow you to divide foods between top and bottom or remove the grill spacer and use the entire 5QT basket for one food, like a traditional fryer. The design is nice, but it’s mostly plastic on the outside. The vertical basket placement is great and they slide in and out with ease. The control settings have a very nice digital display off the right hand side of the unit. You have a large and bright LCD display for time and temp and readout, along with a nice jog dial selector control. The vent fans on this one are also out the right side, not the back. For our kitchen, this works out great due to where we placed the fryer on our counter, but just be aware if that might cause an issue. It fits nicely under standard cabinets and is not too heavy if you need to move it around. One thing we do notice that I’m guessing is due to the type of plastic design of the unit, it gets very hot to touch pretty much all around the outside, and it also seems louder than other comparable fryers we’ve tried, not much insulation for temp or sound is found here. Also, while cleaning the fryer before our first use, the solder of one of the grill spacer handles broke, not a good look before we even cook something… The Doublestack does a lot. Air Fryer is just one of 6 settings that thing claims to do, including bake, broil, roast reheat and dehydrate. We’ve not tried them all, and Air Fry is probably where you’ll use it the most, but it does have the stated capability to much more. I would also assume, based on our usage so far, that a similar trial and error learning curve will be found across all the different settings. In terms of Air Frying, it’s just fine. Easy and right to the point. We had some trial and error with time and temp based on different foods, since the vertical design splits your food into 5QT portions, and if you use the grill spacers, that adds a new wrinkle related to how long you cook the food. The one benefit that we were able to see right away, is the feature of the grill spacers that when used, that cooks the food to an extra crispy style. So it’s great for those foods that need that extra crisp, that might be hard to get in other fryers. However using both baskets and both grill spacers for multiple types of food, means you will more than likely play around with the time and temp for a bit, until you’re comfortable that the food you’re cooking comes out the way you like. I noticed this more on the Bake setting myself. Using Bake settings similar to a standard oven didn’t work for any of the food we tried, so lots of adjustments were needed. But once you get the hang of adjusting the time and temp relative to what you’re cooking, it works great. One of the great features of the Doublestack is the Match Cook setting. Basically set different foods with different time and temps in either basket, and the Ninja will make sure that both are done at the same time, sort of a set it and forget it feature. No more hurrying to get one food out and wait on the other. Another great feature we love is that when the cooking is done, it actively goes into a cool down mode, where the vent fans kick into overdrive a little bit and work to cool down the fryer and not just let all that exess heat stay and build up. Cleaning is easy, as both baskets and the grill spacers are dishwasher safe, and they all have non stick coatings that allow even hand washing to be a snap, food doesn’t stick and wipes right off. Overall, the main feature here is the space saving design, along with the various cooking options this allows. it makes the case to be left out on the counter as an all around go to for quick, easy cooking with fast clean up. It has some great features built in, but nothing revolutionary here, just a great solid product from the Ninja brand.

The Ninja DoubleStack XL Air Fryer is a top contender for anyone looking to enhance their kitchen with a high-end air fryer that doesn’t hog a whole kitchen countertop. Here’s what I like about it… Pros: 1. No Preheating Needed: This air fryer lets you start cooking immediately without needing to preheat. It’s great to put food in and get started right away, making meal prep faster and more convenient. This is already a big improvement over my Ninja indoor grill, which forces me to preheat for every function I set it to. 2. Large Capacity: The 10-quart capacity, divided into two 5-quart baskets, is perfect for most family-sized portions. The dual-basket design allows you to cook different dishes simultaneously, saving time and making it easier to prepare diverse meals. The included metal divider trays for each basket allow you to cook 4 different foods at once, which I tried, and was pretty satisfied with. Just keep in mind – if the foods share a basket, they need to have very similar cook/reheat times. 3. Excellent Cooking Performance: This machine consistently delivers crispy and delicious results. When reheating pizza or air frying potatoes, it provides a crispy layer and an extra crispy layer in the same basket. This was a joy to test, especially since my family has preferences about the crispiness of their reheated foods. It also excels at cooking salmon and zucchini fries to perfection. I have some photos attached to this review as well for anyone interested in seeing the results. 4. Multi-Level Cooking: The inclusion of two trays per basket allows for better air circulation, ensuring even cooking across different levels. This is particularly useful for achieving that perfect crispy exterior on various foods – and I tend to enjoy my foods being extra crispy. Some foods, like zucchini fries, tend to cook and taste better on the top tray of a given basket. 5. Multiple Cooking Functions: The Smart Finish and Match Cook functions work excellently, allowing synchronized cooking times for different dishes. These features save time and simplify meal preparation, making cooking more efficient. It’ll take a while to get used to the names of each function though, so with that in mind… Cons: 1. User Navigation: The user interface could be more intuitive. As a first-time user, I found myself fumbling around trying to figure out how to operate each basket correctly. The dial doesn’t function as a multi-select tool, which can be confusing and less user-friendly. 2. Button Quality: The plastic overlay on the buttons detracts from the premium feel expected from Ninja. Solid, tactile buttons would enhance the user experience significantly. High-end products should have a premium aesthetic and feel, and this includes the buttons and overall user interface. 3. Learning Curve: There is a noticeable learning curve associated with the various functions and settings. Keeping the first-time use instructions handy is recommended until you become familiar with the machine’s controls. Conclusion: The Ninja DoubleStack XL 2 Basket Multi Rack Air Fryer is a versatile and efficient appliance that excels in performance. Its space-saving design and the ability to cook multiple dishes simultaneously make it a valuable addition to any kitchen. However, improvements in the user interface and button quality would enhance its overall usability and premium feel. Despite these minor drawbacks, the air fryer delivers on its promise of crispy, delicious results and is a worthwhile investment for busy households. I’m happy with it’s ability to prepare fresh meals and plan to get plenty of mileage out of it – I just hope the plastic overlay on the buttons will hold up and not crack or break over time.

TLDR: The DoubleStack offers advantages over the normal XL models, but the normal XL models have more accommodating baskets, allowing larger portions of food to be cooked in each one. INTRODUCTION My Ninja Air Fryers are a staple in the household. They are versatile, easy to use, and most importantly, easy to clean up afterwards. During a 5-day work week, the Ninjas get used at least 2 of those days and when I’m not using the air fryer, I am probably using the Ninja Woodfire grill. Like I said, my Ninjas get used heavily by us. The DoubleStack XL is a new twist on the dual air fryer. Instead of placing identical baskets side by side and keeping the overhead heating elements, Ninja redesigned the machine, stacking baskets on top of each other and moving the fans and heating elements to the rear. Ninja touts the space-saving design of this layout and while it is true that this saves horizontal counter space, the DoubleStack still takes up a good amount of real estate, they are just trading horizontal real estate for vertical. The DoubleStack XL sports a generous 10qt capacity, easily besting my single basket XL’s capacity of 6.5qts. Unfortunately, while overall volume has increased, having 2 baskets means each basket’s capacity drops to 5qts, substantially smaller than the 6.5qt basket and making some things challenging to fit in at one time, in one basket. To make up for this, Ninja has come up with a clever dual level basket design. A traditional, perforated plate sits on the bottom on the basket, elevating the bottom level off the floor. A wire rack can then be dropped into the basket, allowing for another level of cooking. It’s a slick idea and allows for cooking up to 4 different things all at once. Ninja also thought ahead realizing cooking up to 4 different things, all at the same time, could be a pain logistically. In their wisdom, Ninja set the DoubleStack up to take out the guesswork and stress. Cooking the exact same thing in both baskets? No problem. Use the Match Cook button. It cooks both baskets the same. Cooking 2 different meals in the baskets? No problem. Click the Smart Finish button, set your cooking time and temps and the Ninja will make sure everything gets done at the same time. It’s simple. It’s intuitive. It’s logical. Kudos Ninja!! USE I was a bit skeptical when I first looked at the new design. Why mess with something that has proven solid for Ninja and countless others? Moving the cooking elements to the back, exhausting out the right side seemed illogical. The main selling points of having an overhead cooking configuration is that all the items in the basket get even heat distribution. Heat gets blown down on all items uniformly, I don’t see how it would be possible with all the items in the DoubleStack being in the back. Surely, the items in the back of the basket will get cooked much more than those at the front and furthest away from the heating elements. To test this theory out, I wanted to start with cooking something not as forgiving as a burger or steaks. I decided on asparagus along with some blackened salmon. I will admit, whatever Ninja did during the design phase paid off. The DoubleStack cooked all the salmon filets evenly and uniformly. The filet closest to the back were no more cooked than the filet at the very front. I was quite surprised at the uniformity. CONCLUSION To date, I have made close to a dozen different foods in the new DoubleStack XL. All the kudos I’ve given to my other Ninja products applies to the DoubleStack. Food cooks evenly and quickly. The new design that I was skeptical about before use, has won me over. Regardless of what protein I’m cooking, what vegetable I’m cooking, or what meal I’m preparing together in one basket, the DoubleStack has performed flawlessly. The only nit pick is that due to the smaller basket volume, I find myself using both baskets to cook a full meal versus what I would normally be able to get away with just one in my normal XL. However, the ability to double stack food in the DoubleStack is a game changer in this household. Being able to put vegetables under your protein in the same basket and have them both turn out exceptionally well, is great. The versatility of the DoubleStack XL has cut back on the amount this family uses the cooktop and microwave during meal prep. Parts of the meals we would normally cook separate from the air fryer can now be included during cooking. Way to go Ninja. Another home run, in my opinion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The Ninja Airfryer has been one of the most significant products I've ever reviewed. We've been loyal to our previous air fryer for five years and have thoroughly enjoyed it, yet it pales in comparison to the Ninja XL. It's arguably one of the most intelligently designed products I've encountered. It can cook four different dishes in two baskets, synchronizing the cooking times so everything is ready simultaneously. For instance, if the top basket requires an hour and the bottom one only thirty minutes, the bottom will activate after a thirty-minute delay. It's rare to find a product that delivers exactly as promised. We tested the Ninja with a 5 lb chicken as suggested in the recipe book. After a light glaze and cooking for the recommended duration, it emerged perfectly cooked, even reaching the advised internal temperature of 165 degrees. My wife has been ecstatic about this air fryer for the past week. She's been experimenting with various foods from the store, and each has turned out flawlessly. The salmon steak bites she made last night were incredibly delicious. A standout feature for us is the ease of cleaning. The baskets detach completely and are shaped to allow a simple rinse without trapping crumbs in hard-to-reach places. I find the controls fairly intuitive, but some of the more advanced features do have a bit of a learning curve. I'm planning on purchasing several of these to give as Christmas gifts to my family.

You can fit a lot of food into this air fryer! This would be perfect for a family to cook everything at once and have it be done at the same time. If you have picky eaters you can use one basket to cook your meal and use the other basket to cook something totally different. You have so many options when using the Ninja air fryer! When I received this machine the first thing I did was run the baskets and accessories through the dishwasher. I did this the first time to make sure everything is disinfected before use. Going forward I will hand clean as it’s super simple to clean and wipe down the nonstick basket and accessories and is recommend per the manual. I put this on my counter with the right side next to a wall. I would not recommend doing this as the heat vents are on that side and will really heat up the wall and also not provide enough air flow for the machine. This will cause it to over heat and possible burn out. So now when I use the machine I slid it somewhat sideways to make sure it’s getting enough air. The instruction book is very helpful in getting started on how to use the dual trays in each basket. I have cooked some items in the machine and they have turned out great. One test I did was put mini quiche on the top row and on the bottom row I put some chicken tenders. They both turned out perfect, hot, crispy, and not burnt. The machine really can do two items in the same basket and have them turn out wonderful. The baskets on this machine have holes in the back to allow for air flow, so the heat isn’t just on top with a fan blowing down, but instead the fan is sucking air through to cook evenly. The display is easy to read and will give you information for both baskets when both are in use. Once you select your cooking setting you can then adjust the temp and time. Just an FYI this machine makes a very loud beep sound when started. My other ninja products make similar sounds but they are a little quieter whereas this machine is very loud. Also other machines pause cooking when you remove a basket, this one does not, it will just continue on as if the basket is in place. If you want to pause cooking you have to press the pause button. I normally just let it run and pull out the basket do whatever is needed for the food and push it back into place. I just adjust the time to compensate for me removing the basket. I really love the smart finish feature. Using this feature you can cook two different items that have different time tables in each basket and have them both finish at the same time. This is such a great idea as you don’t have to remember to start one item so they can finish at the same time. Just push the button and you’re all set to have both items finish at the same time so they are both pipping hot! Overall this is a great air fryer and would be perfect if you entertained or had a family. I do see the value in being able to cook two meals at once, but since there are just two of us the machine is probably more than we need. It will be great when we entertain as we can cook multiple items and snacks at once.

Verdict: The Ninja DoubleStack XL delivers wonderful air frying (and 5 other functions), while saving counter space through its vertical design. This fryer works well for cramped kitchens (see picture). The fryer can cook good-sized meals using both baskets, small meals with just one basket, or versatile meals with four primary ingredients with two drawers and stacked racks. Initial impressions. The unit looks great: sleek, modern, easy to use control panel, and cool color that somehow works well next to other stainless steal machines. It’s not heavy. It’s mostly plastic, but still feels and looks like a premium product. The drawers are not big, so thinking about what/how to cook is important. I love the vertical design… we have unused vertical space, and not much horizontal counter space. I love that the control panel acts as a buffer to ensure there is space for the vents, smart! Setup. Setting up is essentially plug-and-play, and reading the quick start guide to figure out how to best use the machine and different features. Design. We love having two baskets, as well as the versatility of the stacked racks. This week, we made two meals with this air fryer. The first meal was just for my wife and I, and we use one drawer, placing the vegies at the bottom, and salmon on the rack. The second meal we cooked was for us and the kids, so we used both drawers to make chicken and potatoes, using the Smart Finish option to complete both drawers at the same time. The first time we used it, we used thin foil to ease cleaning… this is not necessary! The baskets are designed to come out for easy washing, which is wonderful! Performance. It works exceptionally well and changes our approach to easy cooking and cleaning. Easy cooking for us has been the microwave, the outdoor grill, or some sort of pasta dish or easy protein with rice. This machine opens up so many possibilities because it’s easy to use, it makes great food with little effort, and it’s easy to clean. Things I love: - It looks great - Love the vertical design for our kitchen - Well thought-out control panel - Lots of cooking functions - Versatile options to cook with two drawers and racks - Performs great - Easy to clean! Basket can be easily washed. Things I don’t love: - I wish it had wi-fi for additional functionality, such as a digital cook book, setting temperatures, setting and checking timers, and getting notifications - The “no pre-heating necessary” is not perfectly accurate; salmon takes a few extra minutes when the machine is just starting out, whereas when adding a new batch of salmon into the already hot machine, it is a few minutes shorter. Not a big deal; just something to keep in mind Overall, the Ninja DoubleStack is a wonderful fryer. It performs flawlessly, while saving counter space and adding more versatility to our cooking. We highly recommend it.

I will most likely be purchasing the basket accessory. If the racks had cross hatching as part of the design, that probably would have done the trick. Also love the Smart finish button which allows the unit with shorter cook time to delay start, allowing it to sync up with the other tray to have both trays complete at the same time. Even Cooking: The powerful heating element and convection fan ensure that food is cooked evenly and with a crispy texture. I have been consistently impressed with the results I have achieved with this air fryer. We’ve gone through more air fryers in our house than I’d care to admit. Either the unit dies on us after less than a year, or it just doesn’t work out. One of my wife’s biggest gripes about an air fryer big enough to meal prep for a family of 4 is that it takes up way too much space on our counter. This is the first air fryer that my wife doesn’t have serious complaints about. Design: The baskets are thin but deep; and side by side with our other unit, each individual basket holds almost as much. However, with the removable rack you can actually utilize the entire basket, compared to a typical air fryer basket that you have to leave space between the food to allow circulation. Cooking: comparing to our other air fryer, the Ninja does seem to take a few minutes longer to cook the same volume of food. However! The fans are significantly quieter than our other air fryer units - and, most importantly, the food turns out much crisper. Cleaning: this is probably one of the biggest pros for this unit. Everything is well thought out for real world use. You can pull the racks and dividers out to allow for easy cleaning. Overall: high capacity, space saving design that cooks focal crispier than our other air fryers. Highly recommend for families, or just meal prepping.

I think maybe it’s worthwhile to start a review of this by talking about the size of it. Way too easy in this day and age to let gadgets completely take over your kitchen countertops and this one could be a particularly guilty party in that takeover. It’s compact in the sense that you can fit a whole lot of food into something that’s a fraction of the size of a traditional oven. But it has a footprint that’s maybe a little over half the size of a standard toaster oven and isn’t short. It still fits under our cabinets with no issues, but again the bigger point I’m trying to get at is that things like this really have to warrant a place in my kitchen because I don’t like clutter. I think you could easily use this air fryer to cook a ton of your meals and, as such, really welcome making the space for it in your kitchen. Or like me - you could use it happily every now and then and tuck it away in a pantry closet when it’s not in use. I don’t have a huge kitchen so it’s just not something I want on the countertop 24/7. It’s also worth noting that it vents to the right side of the air fryer, so you’ll want to be careful about what you put next to it on the side. As you can see by Ninja’s product photos, you can supposedly fit two whole chickens and all kinds of food in the two baskets by using two levels in each. If you’re cooking for a family of four or more that convenience and the size of this device is simply going to make your life easier at mealtime. No doubt. So maybe it’s worth running into Best Buy and seeing this thing in person before purchasing. All of that said, Ninja has become the brand that is slowly taking over basically everything I own and use in my kitchen. Their coffeemaker is great. Their 7 in 1 grill thingy is terrific. Even their basic cookware is fantastic! I’m just a fan overall of what they’re doing and my favorite thing is that they seemingly don’t make anything that isn’t dishwasher safe. This air fryer is no exception; the baskets, trays and racks can all go straight in the dishwasher and I cannot thank them enough for that. So what’s it like to use? Really good, which is also unsurprising to me. The display and controls are top notch and dead simple. Press the number that corresponds to the basket(s) you’re using, turn the dial to the desired setting (don’t sleep on “reheat” folks!), set the temp/time, press start and that’s it. That’s all you have to do. Want to pull the basket out, shake around your food and keep cooking like so many air fryer recipes call for? Just press the “pause” button. Done. They’ve more or less made this idiot proof and, unlike a lot of gadgets, Ninja actually includes very worthwhile and well-designed PRINTED instructions. No QR code business sending you to the web to learn how to use the thing you just bought. Not unlike their coffeemaker, they include a bunch of good sounding recipes as well, and a whole slew of cooking suggestions for various types of food. Nice. My issue? While I haven’t tried any of their own recipes, I have tried several recipes I found online - one for air frying tofu, the other for air frying okra - and in both instances I more or less had to double the suggested cooking time. (Even when just cooking in a single basket.) I don’t know why that is. Maybe it just runs a little cool and I need to adjust the temp, or maybe other air fryers are running signinifcantly hotter at the same temp. Whatever it was, just know you may have to experiment. I’d plan on taking more time than suggested if air frying based off a recipe found outside of Ninja’s own. And, yeah, that can be frustrating but the same thing can happen with your oven. It’s no means a deal-breaker, just something that warrants mentioning. Using the reheat function to warm up some leftover fries saw better results, but there too - you might need a little more time in the fryer than you expect. Cooking always requires a bit of learning and experimenting and using this air fryer appears to be no exception. It’ll take a bit more time and usage to really pin down what times and temps are best for it.

The Ninja DoubleStack XL 10 QT 6-1, 2 basket Air Fryer is a high-quality very well made air frying machine. In the last couple years air fryers have ran in popularity , the main reason for that is how quickly they go from zero to hot, and the fact that it fries food without using any cooking oil. I don’t need to talk about the benefits in that but what I will talk about is Ninjas DoubleStack XL air fryer. First, let me begin by saying that this particular machine is a little bigger then it might look in oictures, I only recommended for bigger kitchens that have the room for it. Second thing I would recommend is reading the instruction booklet before you begin cooking. You will learn a thing or two like what the Double Stack Pro and Match Cook buttons do. Basically to get started, turn on the machine , select, which basket do you want to use, the top one, the bottom one or both at the same time. You can then select from six preset settings, each one with a different heat temperature and timer. Or you could adjust your own. Each basket is 5 QTs and fits a good amount of food in there, cooking times very but there is a guide that roughly tells you how long each item will take to cook. I’ve cooked a few items on here and everything comes out hot and crispy. Make sure you stir the basket every once in a while to get an even level of crispiness.

I have been air frying for some time now with multifunction cookers, but this is my first full-on air fryer. I have shied away from them in the past because the space-saving units look like they hold very little food and I have to cook for six. This air fryer proved me wrong! It can hold so much food and I don’t have to cook in a bunch of batches. The unit itself is quite compact; it doesn’t take up too much counter space horizontally and it is short enough that it fits vertically without an issue. Additionally, it is lightweight so when I put it away there is no struggle to carry it around my kitchen. Each basket can cook at completely different settings simultaneously, or the same setting for both baskets with Match Cook. I have been testing out with so many foods since I got it. I cooked a 5lbs whole chicken, and it came out incredibly delectable with crispy skin while still soft and juicy on the inside. I made air fried zucchini parmesan chips, homemade French fries, and mozzarella sticks. All of them came out to perfection. I have reheated a day-old burger and fries and it revived them back to their original goodness. I have also dehydrated some cherry tomatoes that were about to go bad if I didn’t use them. I now have shelf-stable tomatoes for my next pasta dish. One of the best parts of this unit is how easy it is to clean. As I mentioned, I have several other modalities for air frying, but none clean as easily as this one, most involve soaking and a lot of scrubbing. It has become my go-to now because as a busy mom, less cleaning is always a blessing. I did note that the panel can be somewhat confusing to get the hang of at first. After a few uses, I got accustomed to it, but not without accidentally turning it off a few times. I recommend having the Quick Start Guide handy until getting used to it. I am thoroughly enjoying this unit and using it for everything I can think of. I already have a list of more things to try on it. I definitely recommend it for big families.

For starters, this isn’t an air fryer with two compartments! It’s actually two separate 5 qt air fryers with individual controls, heating elements and a raised rack so there can be four different foods cooking between the two drawers on two levels. Each oven can be set to cook independently, a “Smart Finish” setting that allows you to cook with both ovens different ways but have them finish at the same time, or a “Match Cook” setting where one setting applies to both ovens. It is recommended that you cook starchy foods on the bottom “crisper plate” and proteins on the top rack. The cooking settings available are Air Fry, Air Broil, Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate. The unit measures 11.25 in L x 19.22 in W x 15.14 in H, but unlike most air fryers it sits almost flush with the back wall. This is because the controls and the hot air discharge vents are located on the right side of the unit, whereas on other units the hot air discharge is normally in the back. You need to make sure nothing is too close to the hot air discharge on the side! If you currently use an air fryer, this one is well worth the upgrade! If you haven’t then do it! This has become the most used kitchen appliance in our household, and we use it for most everything! And that includes items we used to bake/broil in our standard oven and fry in a pan.

I've got several Air Fryers, but they're the "built-in" ones from other Ninja products, like the Foodi Grill and the Foodi Pressure Cooker. It's nice having a dedicated Air Fryer, so I opted to try this new model, the Double Stack XL. I have used the previous model before (the wider side-by-side basket one) and I wanted to see if there's any improvement to this one, as with the previous model, it seemed to Air Fry very unevenly. As for unboxing, not much to see here, honestly. The retail box just shows all the various features and what food "should" look like, when made in the product. Inside the box, it's literally just Styrofoam and the Air Fryer unit, along with the manual and other documentation, bundled together in a plastic baggy. The Air Fryer does have the usual Ninja "tape", supporting everything during shipment. There were no dents or other defects on this unit, which seems to be pretty common with my experiences with Ninja products, unfortunately. Thankfully, no worries on my unit! As an overview, this product has several cook modes, including Air Fry, Air Broil, Bake, Roast, Reheat and Dehydrate. The modes I focused on in my testing were Air Fry and Bake. There's also 3 different preset modes to choose from: Double Stack Pro (when using the included wire racks for stacking), Smart Finish (for cooking multiple meals in different ways to have them finish at the same time) and Match Cook (when cooking the same foods in both baskets, pretty much). I did use all 3 of these options in my testing. One difference I did notice, between this new version vs. the older, wider one: The Double Stack XL's baskets have vents/holes in the back and it appears the actual element used for heating is located in the back area of the baskets and it cooks through the vents. Whereas on the older, wide model, it seemed to be top-blowing...which was problematic, especially on certain foods that had "toppings", such as small, personal pizzas - it would just scatter the pepperoni everywhere, lol. I didn't experience that with the new Double Stack XL. Overall, food quality seemed pretty good. As with any Ninja product, there is a small bit of a learning curve, so I'm sure that with a little more time and experience, I'll have even better food quality. I only had issues with one type of thing I tried to Air Fry, which I will touch on last, in the next paragraph. I tried Salmon and Asparagus, using the Smart Finish mode, with the Salmon on the top basket and the Asparagus on the bottom. Both came out near-perfect and had just the right amount of crispiness on the outer layer, especially the glaze over the Salmon. I did try Waffle Fries and Tots (not at the same time, just over separate meals) using both baskets on Match Cook and they did pretty well - you just have to pull out the basket and shake them up a time or two during the cooking process. I also tried the Double Stack Pro mode, as well, using the wire racks. Using one basket, just to test, I placed some marinated/seasoned chicken breasts on the wire rack and some sweet potato fries on the bottom. I cooked them for a tad over the recommended time and it turned out pretty great! Also, the Bake mode worked as well as expected, no issues there and honestly....it kinda worked a bit better and more evenly than my actual oven. The only thing I tried that I just could NOT get to turn out well is tortillas. I cut the wraps into quarters, brushed Olive Oil over both sides and sprinkled with salt. It didn't matter what option or mode I used, I just could not get them to turn out crispy. They'd either be undercooked...or burnt. I tried using the Doublestack Pro mode and layer them on the bottom of the basket and the wire rack, as well as just cooking them on the bottom of the baskets. Neither way turned out well at all. Had an entire batch just go in the trash. Regardless of that, I'm still going to give this unit a 5/5 review. Unless I'm doing something wrong, I recommend this for everything EXCEPT making your own tortillas, lol. It has a solid build quality and I certainly love the new technology and how it actually cooks, with the venting in the baskets, which definitely helps!

Ninja has done it again; I love Ninja small appliances. I have a few appliances that I have bought over the years, and they never disappoint. The Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer is absolutely amazing. The recipes you can make with this air fryer are endless. This is not your regular air fryer, you can Roast, Air broil, Reheat, Bake, and Dehydrate. I mean it has a lot of features for sure. The baskets are big and the best part they are stackable. This gives you so much more room to cook different foods at the same time. It also includes a rack to separate the foods using the DoubleStack Pro option where Extra crispier foods go on top and just the crispy foods on the bottom. This is 4 different foods that can be cooked at the same time. The bottom plates are nonstick making them easy to clean. One thing that I notice with this particular air fryer is that the source that provides the heat is on the back side compare to other machines where its on the top. Since it’s on the side and obviously more visible you can maintain it more clean when cooking meals that may splash all over the place. Did I mention it really saves on counter space? Even though it might look huge and bulky when you open the box, it really is not. I was a little concern it would not fit under my cabinets, but it did. I just love this Ninja DoubleStack, great for my family of 5 (4 adults and one toddler). We constantly cook chicken wings these are our absolute favorite to make in the air fryer, now we can make huge batches at the same time. I love roasting tomatillos, green chiles, garlic and onion to make a hot and spicey salsa. Air Frying tortillas to make tostadas, it also makes some nice pieces of crunchy bacon without the big mess on the stove. The Salmon comes out cooked through and well done. This Ninja DoubleStack Air Fryer will never leave my kitchen!!! 10/10!

It is great, doesn't take up tok kich place but they are big. Love the airfyer.

This is a great air fryer, but I did find that I had to reduce recommended cooking temperatures and times. It is an awesome space saver, and I can actually fit more into it than previously thought. I love the color, it is very neutral, and goes with everything in my kitchen. Happy with my purchase!

Works good.Never a problem .All food comes out cooked

At first i was thinking what could Inuse ot for now I use it for everything turkey bacon, salmon bites, potatoes, wings,french fries, brussel sprouts etc. Having the 2 baskets that cook up to 4 things at once having them done at the samae time. Now i wouldn't know what to without it.
