This was exactly what I wanted. A compact machine that had the ability to use k cups and regular brewed coffee. The carafe is spill-proof (unlike other brands like Mr. coffee), is super easy and intuitive to use, and the compact frother for lattes is an added benefit.

This is my second Ninja coffee maker and I must say it does everything you need and more. Very easy to use, plus you can brew specific amounts of coffee to the ounce. It doesn’t have a warmup period like my last Ninja, and also brews very fast. The delay brew is self explanatory and allows you to choose specific settings for the brew at a later time. Overall fantastic. My only complaint is that it does NOT come with a reusable filter. They want you to purchase it separately, which to me was kind of ridiculous because this is their most expensive machine. But I felt it didn’t warrant a deduction in rating.

I recently purchased the Ninja Espresso & Coffee Barista System as a Christmas gift for my wife, who had been wanting an affordable espresso maker. As someone who typically sticks to a traditional coffee pot and Keurig, I was hesitant to make the switch, but this has completely won me over. The flavor of the espresso is incredible—on par with the $5+ drinks you’d find at Starbucks. The engineering behind this machine is truly impressive, and it’s by far the best coffee machine I’ve ever owned. What’s even better is the value—I've already calculated my ROI, and I’ll recuperate the investment in less than 6-7 months. It’s versatile, convenient, and an excellent replacement for anyone looking to upgrade from a coffee pot or Keurig. My wife loves it, and I’m enjoying it just as much. Highly recommend it!"

We love our Ninja Expresso and Coffee Barista machine. The coffee is always excellent and there are many size options to ensure you don’t make too much coffee. It runs quickly too in case you need to make multiple pots to get through a rough work day. There is a separate water container that puts providing the correct amount of water in the machines workflow and out of yours. There is a nice little scoop to make sure you apply the correct amount of grounds as well. Afternoons I enjoy a nice Expresso, cappuccino or caffe mocah. The Expresso is Nespresso Original Line pods which has an excellent brew quality. One day I may get an Expresso machine but this takes the pain of learning how to make an Expresso from scratch out of the equation. The Nespresso comes out excellent and there’s a ton of options out there to try. The frother is an excellent tool for making a good drink. There are more expensive coffee maker options that do more work for you but then you will pay much more money. For what we use it to or has immense ROI in productivity throughout the day.

I absolutely love this espresso and coffee system. It's easy to set up and use. I have made caramel lattes, espresso shots, iced coffee and regular hot coffee. Everything came out tasting awesome like a I bought it from a real coffee shop. I purchased Starbuck nespresso pods, caramel syrup to make my coffee drinks. Now I don't need to spend $7 on a Starbucks trip. I just need to learn how to make all those cool designs with the frothy milk on top.

I absolutely love my espresso machine! It’s easy to use and delivers rich, flavorful coffee every time. The build quality is excellent, and it heats up quickly, making it perfect for busy mornings. This thing is so awesome. I was on the fence because I switched from a manual espresso machine and was a bit of a ‘shot purist’ but since I’m having a baby soon I figured I should make morning coffee as easy as possible. The espresso pulls wonderfully, and you can even do ristretto and long shots. It’s also really convenient to be able to brew almost any size coffee from 8 oz to a full pot! I’m so glad I gave it a try. I use espresso pods from Amazon that I’ll post a picture of below. People say they can be pricey, but at .43 cents a shot it’s still way cheaper than coffee shops. I also purchased a reusable pod to grind and use my own espresso but haven’t used it yet.

I’m a bit of a coffee snob - this machine doesn’t disappoint. It brews the perfect cup - or pot. And the ability to make a quick espresso is a huge bonus. I love the many menu features, the built-in frother, and the large carafe.

I kept reviewing espresso machines but realized I may be too lazy to actually go through all that work and not like espressos all that much. I love my regular drip and instant coffee so this machine is a definite upgrade. Now before you go and say “This isn’t a real espresso machine” you’re not completely wrong, but it’s a really great coffee machine regardless. I gush about my coffee maker. I make a carafe for guests, single drip for myself, and then get fancy creating mock coffee shop drinks. It’s a great alternative to buying Starbucks or Dutch Bros every morning. The machine has a frothed but it’s not a steamer. I buy various sweeteners, froth my dairy/plant based creamer and choose between the Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, or over ice setting for the nespresso pods side. I have never had such a versatile machine! I also love the measuring spoon for the coffee that hides on the side of the machine. Everything is neatly designed and has a pleasing aesthetic. I have saved so much money making my own coffee. And for those that say you would rather pay than waste time making coffee…well the same long line it takes to wait for your coffee at the fancy coffee shop is the same time it takes to make a delicious home brewed coffee. Once I understand espressos more I may upgrade but for now, I have no regrets on this purchase.

I totally love my coffee machine, I was hesitant to buy it because it was a little bit expensive but it worth it dollar. I use the Starbucks espresso pods and I make delicious cappuccinos and ice coffee, I bought it several months ago and works perfect. I totally enjoy it everyday, it is easy to clean and looks great in my kitchen.

This is the most amazing machine ever! I have been looking at this for a while and then I found that Best Buy had to sell and I got it $50 cheaper than anywhere else so I went for it. I love ninja appliances, but by far this Rocks! It’s easy to use, you can do so much with it, and the drinks that come out of this are incredible! I have said goodbye to Starbucks and make everything at home now and even make drinks for my coworkers. I was so impressed with this machine. I recommended it to a few friends who bought it, my daughter bought it and my 75-year-old mom. Way to go ninja! Amazing machine, and if everyone were to get one of these Starbucks would probably go out of business!

Love this Ninja system. It’s very versatile—brews a full pot or espresso with capsules. I use Peruvian coffee and the flavor comes out rich and smooth. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the milk frother is a great bonus.

Excellent coffee maker. Having both options for this price point is amazing. My wife likes drip, I like the nespresso pods. Very aesthetic as well. Contrary to popular belief, Ninja actually backs their stuff up. Our last coffee maker died after 5 years so they gave me a 50% off coupon for the same model. I was so happy with their service, I chose to upgrade to this at full price instead.

I love this coffee maker. It’s great for brewing a pot in the morning. The delay is easy to use also if you like to set it up the night before and have your coffee ready when you wake up. My husband has become a house barista thanks to the milk frothier too! Life is good with this coffee maker!

This is a great coffee maker and its easily to clean.. the plus of having an espresso pods makes the coffee taste even better.. and with the milk froth.. overall im happy.. the only thing i wish it had was a coffee grinder.

Love this coffee pot! The coffee tastes great, I can make so many different sizes of cups of coffee and carafes. I love the frother as well - I had one on my last Ninja coffee pot so this isn't new, but I won't buy a coffee pot without one now. I have not made the single serve Nespresso yet, but plan on doing so soon!
