I just finished Ninja Gaiden 4 on PS5, and honestly — it’s the comeback I was hoping for. The combat feels sharp, fast, and incredibly satisfying. Every fight rewards precision and timing, and once you start mastering combos and counters, it’s pure adrenaline. The gameplay really feels like classic Ninja Gaiden, but smoother and more fluid thanks to the new mechanics and 120 FPS performance on PS5.

Good and fun action game. If you're into hack and slash, you'll enjoy this one. Story is whatever, but the combat is good. Wish Ryu had more weapons, but maybe he will in the DLC.

Amazing game. Cant believe NG4 is finally here. Perfect experience from purchasing the game at best buys to actually playing the game on my new PS5 I bought at best buys the same day. Thanks best buys for providing excellent service and an amazing experience shopping for my new PS5 console and the highly anticipated Ninja Gaiden 4.

Great game and the difficulty level is up there but fun also

I am so glad this game series is back in full swing and better than ever. We have been lacking in proper hack and slash action games and Ninja Gaiden does it best. We're back with Ryu Hayabusa and a newer protagonist and they wrestle and struggle as they're in rival clans. The combat is as addictive as ever, the environments are really pretty and well constructed. Boss fights and arenas are as difficult as they were in prior games.

The game looks good and it fun to play. Platinum games have some of the best combat in the industry. I love the character designs. The graphic options on the PS5 PRO are awesome.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is the comeback of a lifetime. After being dormant for nearly 15 years, I can confidently say this game was worth the wait. You can expect an intense rollercoaster of bloody violence and action that will get your heart pumping like a hammer. The main character Yakumo has a unique playstyle that takes some getting used to if you played the first three games but once it clicks, you will enter a flowstate of brutal attacks and severed limbs. Level design encourages exploration and incorporates the environment into combat and traversal. There is a lot of fun post-game content and combat challenge modes to unlock as well. The soundtrack is a mix of djent metalcore and electronic, with some insane vocal tracks that make you feel like you're ascending to the sky in a lightning storm of power. If intense difficulty isn't your thing, don't worry because Ninja Gaiden 4 has more accessibility options than any other action game I have played. The lower difficulty still succeeds in making you feel like a master ninja. There is a one handed scheme for left or right hands, a standard left handed controller scheme, free button mapping, auto-traversal and auto item interaction, you can change enemy color and environment color, it's kind of insane how many options there are. The story is simple at first but ramps up more as you play and does a great job of conveying the theme of the game by the end. The new characters are the main focus but older characters do make a return. I have not been able to put it down since picking it up. Ninja Gaiden 4 stands as one of the best action games I have played. And I play a lot of them!

Ninja Gaiden is back and this time Ryu Hyabusa shares the spotlight with new playable Raven Clan ninja Yakumo. Yakumo can make weapons out of his own blood while using his regular ninja weapons. Platinum Games, developer of the Bayonetta series, has taken over as the developer of this game with Team Ninja overseeing development. The controls are super tight and responsive and the graphics and performance are great. There are some pretty satisfying obliteration finisher animations, especially the boss finishers. Plenty of challenges and secrets as you’d expect from a new NG entry. The only gripe I have is there are some repeated levels/bosses in the second half of the game similar to Devil May Cry 4. If you love NG or character action games in general then Ninja Gaiden 4 is a must play.

As a long time Ninja Gaiden fan, I had high hopes that this would a decent game. It's more than decent, it's fantastic. The combat has the feel of the older game and really that's all that matters!

[Employee of bestbuy] Ninja Gaiden 4 on PS5 is a straight-up adrenaline rush. From the moment you pick up the controller, the combat feels tight, responsive, and brutally satisfying. The game doesn’t hold your hand it demands precision, timing, and skill and that’s exactly what makes every victory feel earned.

Great game. Lot of action and excitement. Necessary to bring back a blood bath.

An absolutely amazing game to play. Even if it was made by platinum games they kept it as ninja gaiden has been. Wish more playable characters as past games but maybe one day they will patch it or add it. In memory of the itadaki the creator of the franchise.

Bought game for my boyfriend. Super glad to find it used from someone who takes care of their games. It was delivered on time and wrapped in plastic. Good finds.

This definitely an amazing game. Is hard, and it will test your skills, but all the gamers know that this franchise is known for games that are extremely hard and hard to beat.

The 4th installment of Ninja Gaiden is a great improvement over the divided Ninja Gaiden 3. The action is tense and the graphics are awesome.

Awesome game, if you like hack and slash games at a fast pace. This is the one to get, the graphics are top notch, game play to the design of boss fights. Ryu H is bad to the bone in this game, so is Yukomo. Overall I love the game, that I actually went and bought Ninja Gaiden 2 Black for PS5. I waited for the right time to get it. I have yet to do another full playthrough down the road with the DLC.
