A: Hi, I was looking for the same information and found on Ninja site in FAQ, answer to question "Is it safe to be used around birds?", answer is "Yes, the unit utilizes a nano-ceramic coating that is PFOA-free and PFTE-free". And that is the only place they advertised it. I find it strange.
Q: Does the blood or juice of the meat fall underneath if i was making rice or pasta ?

Q: Does it proof bread? And can it bake bread.
A: I have not done it, but it says you can. As long as you follow the instructions. It has a proof function. You also get your instruction booklets with it. Ninja also has a kitchen. You can go online and check into that and see how they cook. There are also you tubes on it. You can’t go wrong. You might be that kind of person that needs to watch something be done and you can do that. It’s out there. you’ll be fine
Q: How hot does the outside of the unit get while cooking?
A: The outside of the Ninja cooker does not get hot. But steam vents out the top of the cooker during the cooking. After the cooking is complete, you have to be careful when removing the pot inside. That is what gets very hot.
