Q: What is the difference between the W10P and W10K models?
A: From a software and features perspective, both frames are the same. The major differences are in the design of the frame as well as the following: - W10K has adjustable viewing angles while W10P has a fixed angle. - W10K frames can be tabletop as well as wall-mountable. W10P frames can only be used as a tabletop. - W10K frames have stereo speakers while W10P has mono speakers.
Q: Is it easy to download from iPhone to frame
A: No! Keeps telling me file format not supported, when the file format it a jpeg! Frustrating!!!
A: The number of photos would depend on the size of each image. However, on average it can fit around 700-1000 photos. To create an album, go to Photos. After Playlists, you’ll see Content Library, which you should click. Click ‘Create an Album’, give it a name and click ok. You’ll now be prompted to start adding photos.
Q: Once the pictures are downloaded into the frame do you NEED to have a wifi connection?
A: The Nixplay Frame will continue to display content stored in the frame memory when the frame is disconnected from WiFi. However, any new content added will only be displayed on the Nixplay frame once the frame is connected to the WiFI.
Q: Is there a monthly charge after buying the frame?
A: Yes, there is now. Nixplay has downgraded their basic plan which allowed you to store unlimited photos, to only 0.5gb and forcing into buying a subscription plan if you wish to keep all your photos. They have also stopped supporting Google photos which could have offloaded some of these limits. 5 photo frames, 6gb of photos, at least they're giving me the option of which ones I want to delete before April. I do not recommend these frames anymore. Just one more subscription service to milk every last nickel.
A: Yes, you can load pictures from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection!
A: It has to (remain) plugged in to function. There is no (rechargeable) battery.
Q: Will the videos play through without touching the screen?
A: Yes, the videos will play automatically. You do not need to touch the screen to play videos.
