A: Yes, this popper uses oil.
A: After 2 or 3 ;poppings, I use a warm paper towel and wipe the inside of the popper and the kettle, which takes a little more effort than an air popper.
Q: is this assembled? or will i need to upon delivery
A: It comes pretty much assembled, it's just a matter of plugging in the popper and placing it in its cradle, then just screw in the handle. Two minutes tops.
