I used them at my son’s birthday party and this was an instant hit. I think it works better with cotton candy floss sugar than hard candy. I bought floss sugar from Amazon which came in different flavors.

The cotton candy maker was really fun with my kids easy to use and easy to put together. I do recommend buying the flavored sugar to make it go faster when making it.

Every think of buying a cotton candy machine to fulfill those late night cravings? Well my friend, this machine is for you! Without going into a long and boring review, I'll hit the bullet points: Pros: 1. Easy setup: plug and play (do however let the machine warm up!) 2. Spins Sugar Floss very well. Spins chopped up Jolly Ranchers even better! 3. Compact and lightweight. Cons: 1. Takes awhile to heat up and getting a cone made up will take some time. 2. The bowl can gum up after awhile making it hard to collect the cotton candy. 3. Taking the top off to clean can be difficult. Long story short, its a great little machine. Can it pump out the volume of a traditional cotton candy machines you see at Fairs or Food trucks? Of course not. But for the price point and convenience, its a good deal.

I bought this to use at my daughter's 13th birthday party and it was a hit! The kids have continuously used every week until I banned the use of it due to having candy granules stuck to my counters lol. We made several mixed flavors using Lifesavers hard candy. If you mix it with regular sugar, it makes big fluffy cotton candy sticks. I gave it 4 stars because once i assembled the middle piece that you put the candy in, I couldn't get it back off to clean it without warping the piece. I reach in and clean it after each cotton candy session but I wish it could be removed without damaging the piece. Overall, a great buy and worth the money!

Overall this is a great cotton candy maker. The only thing I do not like about it is that the top ring does not stay on and you have to hold it in place. It makes a lot of noise. Wondering if its just this one particular machine. It makes great cotton candy is really is easy to use. I like that you can use hard candy in it also. I would recommend it to anyone. We have fun making the cotton candy.

I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it! It's easy to use and clean up. I'm not a big cotton candy fan, but I thought it produced a good tasting product. Make sure you use only hard candy!

We have had good success so far with this machine, after several uses. The first few times, we experimented (off center candy placement, not enough warming time, etc). But following directions really does pay off, and you can made small but fluffy cones of floss with this machine. No problems.

I bought this for my nieces birthday party, and it was such a big hit. Kids and adults were lined up to spin their own cotton candy. I bought the sugar floss, but I really thing the hard candies offer so much more variety. Butterscotch, peppermint, root beer...they were all fantastic. Two small hard candies spun into a decent size treat for the kiddos. I could not be more pleased with this purchase!

As soon as they saw it they couldn’t wait to give it a try. Very easy to put together. My wife managed to do it herself except for one piece she wasn’t sure she would break or not. Usage directions are VERY straight forward and simple while clean up is super easy. Only downside is you get a good mist of cotton candy that floats up if you can’t keep up. If you find yourself in that situation just turn on the oven fan and it’ll take care of this. Very small gripe and you can hardly notice.

This is a fun machine for the kids. They love making their own cotton candy. And making different flavors keeps them wanting to use it. Good price for the fun you will have.

It does what it's supposed to do. It's a little noisy and vibrates pretty good but may be because the kids put it together and didn't seat the part that spins all the way down. Problem with that is once it's been used a few times I can't get it off to install it correctly. So may not be a product issue as much as making sure you put it together properly. It does make cotton candy though.

I normally wouldn't think to buy my child a cotton candy machine for Christmas, but I was short on ideas. Turns out, this was the best gift ever! It works extremely well and is really easy to clean up. I read other reviews saying the cones do not catch the sugar very well, I think they work excellent. No problems here! We love it!

I had low expectations for this product, but my wife and I are quite surprised on how well this machine works. I knocked off a star because of the constant rattling that takes place when the machine gets going. I'm not sure if it's the surface it's on or what. Also, the plastic rim on top tends to pop off due to the vibration of the unit. Other than that, the machine does make some pretty good cotton candy for our weekly family movie night.

Love love this machine!! U can take any flavor hard candy and turn into ur favorite cotton candy!! And it tastes like the hard candy!! Not a tasteless cotton candy like the kind u get on the boardwalk! But if u do like that they also sell the powder sugar to pour and make ur candy. I only gave four stars because u cant put a lot of hard candy at once. A little at a time… but that way u get satisfaction with less candy so i guess u can say its a win-win!

It can do hard candy as well as flossing sugar however, I would stick with flossing sugar since it seems to make a lot more cotton candy. It's a little hard to clean because sugar can get into the crevices on the extractor head as well as the head can be difficult to get off of the machine.
