It's Notting Hill in 1080p + Digital Copy. I actually still prefer 1080p over 4K, so this was the right choice for me.

As Notting Hill is one of my most favorite movies I had to give it five stars. The Blu-ray picture looks great. The extra "Spotlight on Location" featurette (14.5 minutes) and music videos: "She" by Elvis Costello and "You've got a Way" by Shania Twain are a nice bonus. That said let me move on to a technicality. This is evidently a UK bluray edition? I am not a terribly observant guy. No nitpicking here, but even I noticed that the final song during the credits: "No Matter What" was missing. Instead we hear "From the Heart". I double checked with my dvd copy and I was not mistaken. I have no idea what else might have been changed. I have no intention of running the two versions side by side. I will leave that to others more interested. I didn't notice anything else on the first run so I am satified, but..... Oops, just noticed that the feature commentary from the dvd version is missing.

I saw this film theatrically and have owned it on dvd and now blu-ray. The blu-ray is a huge improvement video and audio wise. Love the scene where Hugh Grant shows up to meet Julia Roberts actress character at her hotel room, but did not realize it was a press junket. He quickly looks around and sees a copy of Horse and Hound Magazine and says he is a writer representing that publication. The questions he has to ask the other cast members at the junket of the sci-fi film within a film before getting to her are hilarious.

Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant... Need I say more?!? Haha! This is probably my all time favorite movie! I've watched it probably 100+ times... The storyline is brilliant, the soundtrack is captivating, and the acting is Superb! I have owned the DVD version for many years, but when I saw this I HAD to get it. Also...inside the main cover there is a list of the best movies from the 90's!!!!!! Amazing!! If you have never seen this movie, and want a wonderful romantic comedy, then this is it!

This movie looks great in HD! Julia Roberts is wonderful, as always, Hugh Grant is nicely awkward and suave in turns, but let's face it, the regular performers that seem to appear in all those early Hugh Grant movies just steal the show. I love their quirky comedy, and when you mix it with such a nice romantic story, it makes for great viewing, and was a prefect gift for my wife on our 14th 1st date anniversary!

You probably either like rom coms or you hate them - I can like them if they are well done and give the actors good material to work with. This gives Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts plenty of good lines and situations to work with. A great fantasy type story where a book store owner meets and starts dating a major movie star. If you like the rom com genre this is one of the best.

This gem stars Hugh Grant as a bookshop owner in the Notting Hill section of London who has a chance encounter with the biggest movie star on the planet played by Julia Roberts. Grants deadpan humor is great and there is excellent chemistry between him and Roberts. A really strong supporting cast and a great soundtrack make this a must watch. Highly recommended.

Surprise hit from the 90's for Roberts and Grant. Julia Roberts allows Brit cast mates to stand front and center, never trying to force attention on herself and then steals scene after scene with her simple charm. You know how it's going to end but love watching this ensemble play off each other while getting there. Great Friday night pick for "Let's watch a movie after dinner". Blu-ray includes additional commentary track with director Roger Michell, producer Duncan Kenworth, and writer Richard Curtis.

This Brit comedy is bright, fun and short. Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts have good chemistry and the supporting cast, including a hilarious Rhys Ifans, is superb. In this mold, the British comedy Sliding Doors, from the same era, is brought to mind, with another superb American actress, Gwyneth Paltrow, at its heart. Cinematography and art direction is first-rate, giving a warm, cozy feel to indoor scenes and vibrant colors to outdoor shots. The blu-ray transfer is first rate but lacking in meaningful extras.

A pleasant romantic comedy that gives us a slightly different take on the formulaic plot that is common to the genre. While Hugh Grant is not Sir Lawrence Olivier, the character he plays is ideal for this role. One minor note that I found amusing is when Julia Roberts, as a fictional international film star, mentions "Julia Roberts" in one scene as if it's another person. There are many other examples of this type of sublte humor and great one-liners in the script. Well worth picking up.

This is a fun romantic comedy set in a charming locale. Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant prove their acting chops and believabilty here. A great date movie and also entertaining for the whole family. The extras are not much, but the movie speaks for itself. The digital copy is handy for loading onto any of your traveling devices such as a laptop, ipad, iphone, etc.

This has been my favorite movie since its release. I owned the dvd and decided to upgrade because I wanted the digital copy. To purchase the digital on iTunes was four times more then I paid at here. The digital copy easily transfers into ITunes with the included code. I now can watch my favorite movie on the go......

Hugh Grant at his bumbling bemused best, & Julia Roberts pretending to be just a girl standing before a boy asking him to love her. And the secondary characters are really so bizarre, but charming. But perhaps the most charming of all is the location in Notting Hill. I wish I were at the market right now.

I enjoy this movie for the quirky acting by Hugh Grant and the unlikely but well acted interaction between the 2 stars. I have grown to enjoy this movie immensely over the years having seen it on TV on several occasions. Saw it at Best Buy for a steal and decided I had to have it especially on Blu Ray.

The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is Best Buy did not have it in Blu Ray format. This is the kind of movie that doesn't make love seem so easy to come by that one wonders what is wrong with themselves. It is also good in these times when staying home is the best option and will make you forget about things for a while.

Excellent movie that gives you a glimpse of every man's fantasy. The fantasy of Mr. Nobody meeting and wooing a beautiful world famous actress. I like few dramas and own even less and this one holds a special place in my mostly action movies collection.
