A: This is the latest model 2017 and it has the same CPU speed as the recent model, however the Pro has 500 GB of internal storage on the ready. The older model I believe only has 16 GB and no flash memory will not make it any faster. The thing I like about the Pro is that I don't have to stick any USB external storage in order to purchase my game library. It runs smooth with no issues. You can hook up any external storage drive to your 16 GB model, but it won't be any faster.
A: The voice recognition is only active when you press the mic button on the remote. If you don't use it then it doesn't listen.
A: This unit is compatible with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and you can play movie files from flash drive. The video file format supported are Xvid/ DivX/ASF/AVI/MKV/MOV/M2TS/MPEG-TS/MP4/WEB-M.

A: No it doesn't have this capability!
