I’ve been really impressed with these glasses, especially while riding my horse. The fit is secure and comfortable, and they stay in place even with movement. The polarized lenses provide excellent clarity and reduce glare, which is helpful outdoors in changing light conditions. They let me listen to music and capture great riding photos and videos hands-free, which has been a huge plus. The audio is clear without blocking out my surroundings, so I still feel aware and in control. Battery life has been solid, and overall they’ve been a very functional and well-designed addition to my routine.

Incredible smart glasses that truly enhance everyday life These Gen 2 Oakley HSTN Meta glasses have honestly become something I use daily, and they continue to impress me. The Prizm Ruby lenses provide outstanding clarity, contrast, and glare reduction. I ordered prescription lenses for them, which made the experience absolutely perfect—clear vision combined with smart features in one seamless device. The Meta features are where these really shine. The sound quality isn’t Bose-level or ultra high-end, but it is rich, clear, and easy to hear even in noisy environments. I consistently get a solid 8 to 9 hours of listening time, which easily lasts all day. Phone calls are excellent—voices are clear on both ends without needing to speak loudly. The AI interface is intuitive and genuinely helpful. I use it frequently for turn-by-turn directions, and I’m honestly addicted to that feature. Since I sometimes have trouble seeing, being able to ask my glasses what I’m looking at or have them read labels out loud is incredible. The “Be My Eyes” functionality is truly amazing and has been a game changer for me. I also love that I can connect these to my TV via Bluetooth and watch late at night without disturbing anyone else in the room—an underrated but fantastic feature. The 3K video quality is impressive, and capturing content is effortless. A quick click on the right arm takes a photo, and a long press on the top records video. My only wish is that Meta would allow landscape video in addition to vertical, but even so, hands-free photos and video are incredibly convenient. The charging case deserves special mention. The hard shell case has a very satisfying magnetic snap-close that feels premium and secure. The glasses charge fully from 0 to 100% in about 25 to 30 minutes, and there’s room inside to tuck in a cleaning cloth for fingerprints, dust, or smudges. Yes, the case is a bit bulky, but I solved that easily by using a leather protective case that keeps water out and helps keep it looking new. I’ve also enjoyed customizing these with accessories. I added white slide-out camera covers, which I love because I only open them when I’m intentionally taking photos or video. This helps prevent accidental recordings and adds peace of mind for privacy—for myself and others. I also added silicone tips on the arms to keep the glasses from slipping down my nose. There are so many accessories available that you can truly tailor these glasses to your needs. The app is simple and easy to use. Downloading photos and videos to my phone is seamless, and I love that it automatically crops out my hat when I’m wearing one—such a thoughtful touch. I paid about $100 more for Gen 2 over Gen 1, and I’m very glad I did. The extended battery life and 3K video alone make it worth the upgrade. These glasses feel thoughtfully designed, comfortable for long wear, and packed with features that genuinely improve daily life rather than feeling like gimmicks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Coming from the Gen 1 Meta Wayfarer the bold style of the Oakley Meta HSTN is an acquired taste. Well, for the most part Oakley enthusiasts are built different. What I love about the Meta HSTN is the improved battery life, the fit on my nose and a bit of improvement on the sound quality via the tiny bump in bass. It did solve my irks about the Gen 1 Wayfarer but didn't fulfill the wish of a centered camera and an IP 67 rating, well they released the Vanguard for that. For $399 you get a decent earphone, sunglasses and camera all rolled into one every day carry. That's enough for me. The promise of future features like the slow motion and hyperlapse option makes me think twice about getting the Vanguards. I would love to have the conversation focus that they showcased during Meta Connect as well. As of today, they haven't rolled out to my Meta HSTN yet.

Overall, I bought these glasses for my birthday so I could record the entire celebration. And the details are absolutely perfect, both in terms of audio and video. Everything is super nice, everything looks sharp. Everything sounds perfect. The sound quality is excellent, and they're also comfortable to wear. The battery lasts a long time, they're durable, they don't get dirty easily, and they're easy to clean. I'm super happy with these glasses; they're the best product on the market.

I bought this as my very first AI glasses. And it did not disappoint. The battery life is amazing i went to bigsur all day and it didnt died on me, it shoots 3k videos very clear and the audio is crisp. The speakers on the ears are nice with auto adjustment volume option bases on background noise. The fit it snug fit, does not hurt, the polarized lens helped a lot when outdoors. The charging case is sturdy and charges the oakley meta fast. Over all highly recommended, high price but high quality as well. Im glad i was able to buy this limited edition.
