does everything I expected. Easy to adjust and very stable.

My goodness, what can you NOT do with this unit? It goes on tables, on the couch, in the car, on the bed, and EVERYWHERE else you need placement. Easy to use and solidly made. Very impressed and highly recommended.

I am using this item to mount my iPad Mini on my desk where with a Bluetooth speaker It essentially acts as another tv. The down-side is when the device is mounted into the holder it is difficult to get out. IMO, that is only true of the mini. I do not have a full sized iPad but I am guessing this item would work more efficiently with it.

For the price, there are way better iPad stands on the market. Luckily, I got this one on sale. I works great for the most part, but it is very hard to get in a perfect shape when using it one position for a long time. It also shakes a little bit, which can get distracting when using it for work.

First, I must say that I don't normally write reviews, but I felt this product deserves one. I bought this because I have neck and shoulder problems and my chiropractor insisted that I find something to elevate my iPad and Kindle so that I don't have to hunch over to use them. Not only did the spider monkey stand allieviate this problem, but I am constantly finding other great ways to solve other previous dilemmas for me and my family. First, I can use it when I sit on the couch or bed to elevate my devices to just where I want them when I play games, read, type, watch videos, or just surf the web. I either tuck it under my legs or into the side of the couch or mattress. Works perfectly handsfree. I use it to hold my iPad when I am read recipes or when I am making pottery and need to watch instructional videos. My daughter uses it to put the music score at the right level when she is playing her clarinet. I am sure there are lots of other ways to use it that I will soon discover. It not only looks really cool (lots of people come up to me when I am in the coffee shop or on the airplane using it) but, it is both sturdy and flexible. Great job Octa people.

Saw this product at a friends house. Intrigued me. Bought one for upcoming NFL football season. Follow lots of teams and by sticking the monkey tail in the side of my couch cushion, I can put the tablet right above the arm rest so I can access it easily for stats and other football info. So far, through two preseason games, it is working beautifully.

i wanted a way to watch my iPad as i sat by the pool this summer, and found the Spider Monkey online. I use it so that I can watch hands free and also, so that I dont have to continuously hold the iPad with wet hands after I go in the pool. I'd recommend it for anyone who needs to watch an iPad hands free..
