I recently bought a Samsung Smart TV and Soundbar. I was unhappy with the cheap and tiny remote the TV came with and was looking for a better remote that could provide larger buttons, better ease of use and could control my soundbar in the event the TV and soundbar went out of sync with each other. This remote was new and the guy at BB said he was very curious to see how this faired. I can tell you it is a great remote for the price. The buttons are conveniently laid out, larger than most TV remotes, and all of the major functions are already in place. It was extremely simply to program...taking just a few seconds. It allows for plenty of customization but I really didn't need to change anything. It feels sturdy and being a bit larger/longer it is easy to grip. My only gripe is the 'back' button is located around the edge of the center wheel for some strange reason and is not really a 'button' per se but more of a section of the disc you depress. This makes it a bit clunky to press. Normally I would not care but with smart TV's and all app based services now the 'back' button is used a ton. It would've faired much better if it had it's own back button. Otherwise it's a great remote.

I was hoping that this inexpensive unit could meet our fairly simple bedroom needs: Samsung television, Apple TV, Fluance bookshelf speakers. It was only compatible with the first two. I also found it to be confused by the PS4. Eventually, it started to become less and less responsive (despite having fresh batteries) and now is unreceptive. I mean, it's only two months old. The software for adding devices is decent, but getting the battery case off is strangely difficult. Oh, and good look scrolling or fast-forwarding with this thing. I should've taken it back when I had the chance.

I have been buying One for All remotes since they debuted back in 1990. One for All has scaled back on the amount of remotes the make now versus what they made back in 1990. This is the first new remote they have had in about 5 years. The beauty of these remotes is that they have been using the same codes for 30 years. They have the largest database of codes and if the remote is missing a function, it can be found by hitting the magic button once and typing 00000-00255 and assigning the function to one of the unused buttons on the remote using the macro function. The functions are random between these numbers so you have to spend some time going through all the codes to find out which number works for what function. This function has been on these remotes since about 1995. They make the remotes for Xfinity as well and their remotes do the same thing. I too found the battery cover difficult to remove with then batteries in. I found a trick by pushing down hard with my nail between the top lip of the battery cover where it pulls away from the case. I discovered scratches and the use of some tool by the manufacturer to get the cover off due to the marks and scratches on the back of the case. I contacted One for All and they would not send me a new battery cover even though it was their fault. Said they didn’t have these in house. The box was sealed when I purchased it, so I know no one else had the remote before me. They told me to return it to Best Buy. I decided it wasn’t big enough of an issue to return it to Best Buy. The app is great and provides many more codes than what is sitting on the remote already. The app was easy to setup. Uses Bluetooth to connect to the remote. I like the feel of the remote and I like that One for All got rid of the red clear plastic on the end where the IR sensor is. This red area used to scratch easily and looked awful after months of use. The signal strength is great. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a fully functional remote at a great price. Also, for someone seeking a remote for a product where they have had a difficult time finding a remote to work for it. One for All has the largest remote code database of anyone and always has.

I bought this product because I have lots of electronics and it confuses mom as to which remote does what when she comes over. I was able to set up my LG tv, Xbox One, Samsung surround sound system and DirecTv cable box to this remote. The app made it more confusing for me personally because it kept trying to connect unwanted devices so I just punched in the codes from the instructions for setup. My only wish is that there was a light so you could see the buttons in the dark but other than that I have no complaints.

Universal remote that works great. Controls my TV, Xfinity box, and Audio Receiver. I like how I can page it if I lose it in the couch. The negatives: the buttons don’t light up to see in the dark and buttons are not textured so fingers slip off when using.

I got this to consolidate remotes, and it does the job. The activity function is handy to turn multiple devices on/off at once. Does not control fire stick, but not many do. Workaround is CEC on your smart tv, but remote lags a little. Decent remote tho.

I found the instructions easy to follow and the devise fits well in my hand. I actually purchased this for my wife...she's getting the hang of it. :)

Good multi device remote. Was easy to program. Setup my tv, bluray player, receiver, and my cable box in less than 10 minutes. Works with IR devices. Does not support RF devices, like Roku for example.

How did I ever live without this remote. Very easy to program. The best feature is its learning ability. I have tried a lot of so called universal remotes before only to find out not all the functions will work. With this remote in just a couple easy steps it will learn any function the original remote will do. Plus you can set it up to do multiple functions from multiple remotes with pushing only one button.

Ive had several Logitech remotes, all of which had some sort of defect after only a few months to a year of service; theyre not built to last, that's for sure. Gave this ONEforAll remote a shot since it was on sale and i love it! Very sturdy, works well, and no issues for past 5 months. It's not perfect, but i love it easily over those crappy Logitech remotes.

This remote works well. It is pretty easy to set up. Make sure you read the the instructions on the "Magic" button, I missed it on my first go. It would have been easier if I used it on my first attempt. I recommend this remote. I use Direct TV, Blue Ray player, and a sound bar; it is really nice to be able to be able to use one remote control instead of 3 to 4 different remotes.

Got this to replace the horribly sub-par remote Spectrum provided. It was on sale, so why not? Turns out, I am not disappointed at all. Setting it up was a breeze, using my smart phone and the app. All my devices respond really well to it. If I wanna nitpick, the buttons should light up, but I am loving this baby!

I got this because I wanted a universal remote that also controlled PS4 media. I was a little ticked because the BB associate swore to me it would work with the PS4 and it didn't, so I had to return it. Good layout and functionality otherwise. Pairing is very easy.

We purchased a sound bar for our tv when our older speakers went out. There was only one remote with it and it was TINY. We purchased this remote and it was incredibly simple to synch with our tv.sound bar combo. We love it.

This remote will function all of your entertainment devices. Took a little getting use to and learn but once it was setup, I now only use this remote for my 5 devices. 2 TVs,1 Blu Ray player,Home Audio System,Nvidia Shield TV Pro Streaming Device. It will require updates when 1st opened but basically you can do everything right from the Mobile App.
would recommend to a friend
