Visually stunning a bit violent can be a bit of a slow burn but decent film.

This movie has very little dialogue but very effective.

This movie starts off with a bang and never looks back.

A very stylistically beautiful abstract film yet so shockingly violent that many may turn off by that entirely. If you look beyond the violence, there are some very interesting ideas. And on the technical level, you can't deny the beauty of the cinematography. If you want to own this, get it in bluray.

Only God Forgives is a brutally violent but stylistically captivating film that's layered beyond its surface. The problem is that said surface is so refined, so beautiful that it's sometimes difficult to see the deeper themes and meaning underneath. Multiple viewings open up the film and a second proves much more satisfying than the first when it's a bit easier to look beyond the style and find the other pieces yearning to be discovered therein. Anchor Bay's Blu-ray release of Only God Forgives features high quality video and audio. A nice array of bonus content is included. Highly recommended.

Its not his best film (Drive) but this films does inherent some of the behaviors of that film. The score is great and the acting is great. The violence is a bit over the top so if you have a weak stomach, you have been warned.

Another Ryan Gosling / Nicholas Winding Refn project but is WAY more strange than "Drive". It has all the elements that their previous works are known for with and story that is more twisted than his usual. Great visuals and soundtrack!!

I've been looking for this video at several surrounding stores in this area. I was relieved and pleasantly surprise to find this video title at Best Buy, when other large stores had no stock.

This a violent strange movie that won't be for everyone's taste. But it was different enough to make it an interesting watch.

Only God Forgives is a highly stylized and violent crime thriller. It's a slow burn that rewards patient viewers with it's underlying themes, atmosphere & the breathtaking cinematography! Director Nicolas Winding Refn's auteur status definitely rises on this film. Recommended!

I got this for my son for Christmas and he said it was hard to find.

not the best ryan gosling movie but it keeps you entertained it has a good replay value

Fantastic movie. Extremely limited dialog. bloody, sexy. Just painful at parts. If you love Ryan Gosling for more than his abs (which everyone should) then you'll love this movie. it's a more indie drive.
