The Ooma Telo air was very easy to set up. I had a question about porting my old number, so I called customer service and they were easy to reach and very helpful. I'm using the system connected to my wi-fi, and the reception is excellent...crystal clear on local and international calls. It is saving me a lot of money on my phone bill. Really happy with this product!

Purchased this back in March 2021. After a year of trying to get this to work myself finally successful. Between work and caring for an elderly parent it took my internet company to find my problem.

Just installed it and found out that my monthly bill is less then $10 a month which is only taxes. There basic service which is only making calls nationwide is $0. Easy to obtain a number and activation is simple. This also has Wi-Fi so that I don’t need to use a Ethernet wire.

It works well, although it takes two or three seconds to establish a connection. Sound quality is good. But it has the problem of any communication device that depends on reliable connections to both an electricity source and a cable or fiber connection. It fails when one or both of those fail. Of course a cell phone has the same problems, although they usually more ruggend and more well hidden. Ultimately, the cell phone usually wins, because in most cases, it is impossible to carry around the hundreds or thousands of miles of cables for cable-based based communications. Still, if you have a cell phone-averse person in your home, remember that most philosophical traditions put a high value on "peace in the household."

purchased to replace a previous Ooma box(non WIFi) that stopped working. Since this was a replacement, I did not need to do the instructions indicated on the manual. I just called the Ooma support number, they asked my what the activation code was on the new box. Then they made the needed changes on their side. I did not have to do anything other than jack the Ooma Box into my Router. They told me that I would need a smart phone to setup the Ooma to Router Wi Fi connection. I do not own a smart phone, so I just used an ethernet cord from the Ooma box to the router. Since I could not try out the WIFi connection, I only rated a 4.

The Ooma Telo Air 2 was very easy to set up. The WiFi connection to the internet gave us lots of flexibility in where to place the unit. No phone cords required to use it! Excellent instructions on how to port my phone number from AT&T to Ooma. Plugged in my existing handset to be able to answer incoming calls when I want to. But can also answer calls and check voice mail on my cell phone. How convient! Best of all I dropped my monthly land line cost from $44/mo to $5/mo!

In cutting the cord, I wanted to discontinue my land line that was bundled with my cable. The Ooma is exactly what I needed, and performs perfectly! Sound is clearer than cable, and I kept my old number. Install took about ten easy minutes, and my old number was ported in five days. My only monthly cost is the related taxes, in my area is $7.12. I am very impressed with the Ooma, and recommend it.

Easy setup. I connected to the internet using my phone and it gave me a list of phone numbers to choose from. I opted to "port" a a number from a different internet provider. It took about a week and the number was transferred. After rebooting the Ooma cells from the old number came to the Ooma. It was easy. Monthly charge is about $8 a month

Ease of setup and activation unparalleled. Competitive pricing. Voice quality excellent. Essential features are without fee except taxes. Additional features are worth the extra tariff. All in all worth the purchase.

Ooma provides a consistent, reliable phone service. I've used them for more than a decade and saved more than $5000 on phone bills. I also appreciate the ease-of-use of their online UI for viewing phone calls. My only month expense is a little more than $6, due to taxes. There is no phone bill. I just replaced with this one, because the other finally failed after around 15 years of being plugged in and on 24x7.

My need for this was limited to a required landline or VoIP line for an elevator. I got the Telo Air 2 (wireless) to allow flexibility for installation. Works great! The installation was a little tricky because the device was a little hard to connect to Bluetooth for the initial setup. Repeated attempts eventually worked wirelessly, so I don't know whether the Ethernet approach would have made it easier.

Ditched our land line for this. As an added bonus you can select a new number if you don't wanna port your exsisting (gets rid of lots of spam calls) and you can select a different area code if desired. If you go with no features it's dirt cheap (taxes only) ours is under 10 a month now. You must have a good internet connection ethernet is preferred connection.

Great alternative to the big landline companies. Saving lotsof $$ using the OOMA internet phone service. As long as you have reliable internet service this is a great alternative to the big phone companies--works as well as any landline.
