A young man dreams of opening his own restaurant. His dream takes a back seat, as nearby competition threatens to leave him and his girlfriend out of a job. Together they set out to save the restaurant they work for from going out of business.
Hiram Jaffe (Elliott Gould) is a struggling author in New York who writes pornography and walks dogs for the rich in order to make ends meet.
