I used this device to extract Dolby Atmos audio from my Dell AW3225QF monitor and feed it to my AV receiver. With my NVIDIA GPU connected to the monitor via HDMI, the extractor only output stereo audio instead of multichannel Atmos. When I connected the GPU via DisplayPort and used the monitor’s eARC output, it did extract an Atmos signal, but the audio contained noticeable noise, distortion, and other artifacts compared to connecting the GPU directly to the AV receiver. Based on my testing, I cannot recommend this product for PC gaming or Dolby Atmos audio extraction.

I have an older Pioneer THX Elite receiver and this works great with it. It only outputs 1080p but with this, it doesnt matter.
