[Employee of bestbuy] The cummuter case has always been my go to case because it’s not bulky, but it still has two layers of protection. The issue I have with the newer version is they no longer have the runner grips on the back of the case, now it’s very slick. When I set my phone down I have to make sure it’s not on a incline otherwise it’ll slide off. The previous versions had two strips of rubber on the back to prevent it sliding and adding more grip to the case.

Extremely durable case, the only case I trust on the market that his withstood all external and environmental turbulence my crazy work life throws at it. You get your money's worth for sure.

It is too slippery. Not easy to hold. Too thin. Not enough grip to hold or stop from sliding out of your hand. Not what I expected from otterbox. I wish I can return it but I left on vacation.

I am the worlds worse in handling cell phones. I have dropped numerous phones in the past shattering the screens which aren't cheap to replace! I was offered this Otterbox to fix my new IPhone 16 PRO MAX. It fit my phone very well and looked good as well. Before I even got to my car, I dropped the phone. I could not tell on the shell where it even hit at. I am very impressed with the phone shell. Highly recommend it!

This case is getting way too many bad reviews from people who must not understand the purpose of having the cutout for the camera button. Its not just a camera button it is also a sensor that you can slide your finger over to control the zoom of the lens. You would lose the sliding zoom functionality if it were covered and just had a pushable button similar to the wake/power button. Its a commuter case and I have no doubt it will protect my phone the same way the Otterbox commuters of the past have.

I can gaurantee my phone is protected from drops and throws from my kids but the trade off is the bulkyness. Has the hard case for initial protection and the sofe case for shock absorption. A small detail that seems to be an issue is the brittle part of the hard case by the charger of the phone. Mine cracked and broke within a month of owning it

I have been a loyal Otterbox customer for over 10 years, for iPods, iPads, and iPhones for every member of my family. This is the first case I hate. The issue is the huge hole in defense for the side camera button. They have built-in protection for the power, volume up, volume down, and Silent buttons, but for the camera button they leave it and the edge of the screen completely exposed! Before this phone/case, I have never had to replace my screen protector more than once every 2 years or so. I’ve had this less than a year and am in need of replacing the screen protector for a third time already.

[Employee of bestbuy] a little clunky, and i'm not a huge fan of the open indent for the camera button. but otherwise, it's a very protective case. it also collects a decent amount of lint from the rubber

Love this - this version feels thinner on the sides so doesn't look at bulky as my prior one on my iPhone 13. Helps the phone look closer to its actual size. I have dropped my iPhones many times over the year and the OtterBox Commuter Series has always protected it. It does not cover the screen so you need a screen protector.
