I already have the Case, I was replacing mine. Cause although it great Protection against Drops, Throws and other Major Damage situations. The Kick Stand Hard Case with the Apple Pencil hold isn’t so much. If you use an OtterBox Hostler on any of your Devices, you already know what I’m talking about or about to say. The Shoulder Bumps on the Kick Stand Hard Case that Latch on to the Case of the OtterBox Case for iPad Mini, can only survive so many Drops. I say this not to Discourage you from this Product, yet to make you Aware of it only Flaw. Cause you don’t have to use the Kick Stand Hard Case with your OtterBox Case. I only use mine to Protect my Tablet when I’m Traveling with it and for the Kick Stand feature. Yet if you have Little Ones running around, that like to grab and throw Things. Just know, your iPad Mini will Survive the Throw in it Slim Fit OtterBox and Hard Case. The Hard Case Shoulder Bumper might take Damage and Break Off. Yet your Tablet will be Protected though. OtterBox is know for making some of the Durable Case for Apple and Samsung Devices, it’s the Hostlers and Hand Case use have to worry about. OtterBox has it where you can Buy just the Hostler, yet you can’t buy just the Hard Case for your iPads. That’s why I’m reordering it. Ay, look this probably ain’t the Review you Thought it was going to be, yet it’s the One that you needed to Read. I Promise. If you look at my Provided Photos of my First Purchase of the OtterBox Case with the Kick Stand Hard Case for the iPad Mini Gen 7th, you can see that it’s still going Strong. Yet look closely at the First Photo, Top Right Corner of the iPad Mini Hard Case holding the iPad Mini. There’s a Shoulder Bumper that isn’t Visible, cause it’s hasn’t been Super Glued back on for the 3rd Time. In the Second Photo without the iPad Mini you can clearly see what I mean about the Top Right Shoulder Bumper being gone. Yet in the Third and Fourth Photos, you see that it doesn’t take away from the Hard Case Functions. You can still use it as a Kick Stand and it can still House your Apple Pencil. Just one to give you a look at my Hostler for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. As you see in the 5th Photo, the top Right Shoulder Bumper or Gripper is missing. It the Hostler, it still Holds the iPhone, yet I still recommend you place it. Cause One wrong move and your iPhone will be Flying out of the Hostler, yet OtterBox sell the Hostlers separate. We’re talking about the Kick Stand Hand Case for the iPad Mini though, OtterBox doesn’t sell them separately. I hope this helped with your Decision to buy this Product, the OtterBox Defender Pro Series Case for the iPad Mini. I honestly do Love it, I just would like to know what to expect and that what I’m hoping I’m doing for you. I do recommend this Product.

I waited for a few months for Otterbox to finally produce the Otterbox Defender case for the new IPad mini 6. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even buy the IPad mini 6 until Otterbox made this case. I only use Otterbox cases. I don't trust other cases to protect a $500 item like an IPad mini 6. It fits perfectly. I love knowing that I can throw it into my backpack, and not worry about damaging it, etc. I also like how they no longer put a built-in screen protector on there. I'd rather put my own on, as the old Otterbox cases were notorious for getting dust and / or moisture stuck between the screen protector and the screen. I am definitely happy with the new Otterbox Defender Pro case for the new IPad mini 6! It will make a nice display for my Mavic Air 2 drone!

Love it, perfect fit, access to all the buttons,superior protection. Only complaint is if you want to have it tilted on the stand, you have to flip it upside down (Pencil side down), only way for it to stand properly. Pencil slot is also a plus to keep it charged when plugged in.

Very good and offers decent protection just like any other otterbox case, the only down side is the stand/cover, it only works with one side of the case, and you destroy the apple pencil gate-thing when using it, and its really annoying

I bought this a few weeks ago to update the case I was using for my iPad. It was time to have some change and I wanted a case that would last through lots of bumps, falls, and sticky fingers (I have kids and they tend to use my iPad). I have to say, this case has done an amazing job. I feel like it is not too bulky of a case. It provides great protection while still looking nice and it is very easy to clean!

I've been an Otterbox Customer since the iPhone 4S was a thing and I've encountered ZERO damage up until today. At work I repair customer mobile devices and when they ask me for case reccommendations it's Otterbox everytime. I'm sad to say that ended yesterday when my Ipad Mini 6 took a small spill off a table at work. This product's first two layers of protection seems to protect from physical damage but third rubber piece fails to protect from the most important aspect. Shock. I'm a technician and I see/repair damaged tech like this on a daily basis. I'm not mad that I broke the ipad screen. I'm mad that I trusted a brand for so many years to protect my products, paid 70 for a piece of plastic with some crappy rubber attached to it that touts "2x the drop protection" And then proceeds to catastrophically fail while I'm in the middle of working with a customer (ironically for a screen replacement). I don't know what is going on with Otterbox but this is completely 100% unacceptable for me and as such I cannot in good conscience continue to promote a brand that misrepresents their product's capability. If I could give this product zero stars I would in a heartbeat.

I bought this case for my iPad Mini. Very strong and protects the product well. Great purchase!

I always recommend the Otterbox defender if you have kids. whether it's for a smartphone or a tablet this thing comes in handy. it's just that little bit of extra protection .to keep your investment safe.

Put work device in a otter box it will live forever

Poor design and execution. They need better quality control or this design is very poor. The rubber backing is loose and doesn’t fit correct. The pencil tray is very flimsy and for a deluxe case and reputation this is a bad case. I love my other otterbox items but this one was rushed and you can notice it. Hope they see this and improve on the design. Maybe I’ll buy the redesign if it ever comes out.

Very durable. Have dropped this tablet way too many times and it still looks like new.

This broke right away. I am so disappointed as it is an actual otter box and I thought these were supposed to be quality. It wasn’t even treated roughly. Simple management and side snapped. Now I can’t even return.

Day 1 of the Otterbox Defender Pro: my 2 year old that stands 3'2" dropped it (while standing still) and the cover cracked. The iPad didn't get damaged though. Took it away immediately and it became my work iPad. 11 months later: I just cracked the arm that holds the iPad up to view by simply opening it up like I always do. Been using it strictly for viewing a Ring camera in my office. Also it hasn't been dropped since day 1. For the money this cheap flimsy plastic cover they call a "Pro Series Case" is not worth it.

Broke within a month… very poor design with very little protection. Would absolutely not recommend this case.

OtterBox has been a trusted accessory for my Apple devices since my iPhone 4s. And over 10 years later, they do not disappoint. I got this case for my iPad mini 6 as I like to have some grip to the case for me to read or hold with one hand. Like all OoterBox cases, there is the back plate, front frame and a rubber outer edge. There is also a cut out on the right side to allow for the Apple Pencil to charge. I know for sure that there will be no damage to the iPad if I were to drop it. Now it does not have a screen protector like older cases, so you do have to buy one separately. Overall, very happy with this case.
