I used an OtterBox for my old phone and it did wonderfully. I dropped my phone on the tile floor twice. The last time it landed on a corner and I was heartbroken. When I picked my phone up and looked at it there was no damage. The OtterBox, however, was cracked near the volume up button. I got on their web site and ordered a replacement and had protection again within a week. That made me a believer for life. It's much cheaper to replace a broken case than it is to lose a phone to system damage. I've only had my new phone and case since last night but I see nothing to indicate the quality has suffered since my first experience.
