Q: Does this have a raised lip to protect the face of the phone if it drops?
A: I think it does. It seems like the rubber parts wrap around the top and bottom. The hard plastic wraps around both sides.
Q: Is there other colors? Looking for a Gold wallet to hold iPhone 8 plus
A: It come in several different colors. I do recall seeing gold.
