Bought this more for travel than everyday use, and that is where it makes the most sense. The case is small, solid, and easy to toss in a bag without worrying about the little puck charger. Charging has been simple, and I like being able to top off my ring at work or on a trip instead of waiting until I am near an outlet. It just feels more polished than carrying a loose charger around. My only real gripe is the price. For what the ring already costs, this feels like something that should have been included or at least discounted. Also make sure you buy the exact size for your Ring 5, because it is not a universal charger, and there is no USB C cable in the box. Still, if you travel often or hate gaps in your Oura data, it is a very practical little accessory. If your ring mostly charges at home, the standard charger is probably enough.
