Product Manuals
A: The Owlet Cam will stream live video and audio to your phone, and it will alert you based on sounds to view the video stream. However, the Owlet Cam does not record video at this point.
Q: Does the camera have a motion sensor to alert me if the baby is awake, crying, etc?
A: Yes and no. It will say motion or sound detected in baby’s room. It will not notify you however if the app is not open (and it does not make any sort of alerting sound or anything). Under the video of the baby it simply shows text “sound detected in baby’s room”.
Q: If you buy a second camera, can you do split screen through the app to view both cameras at once?
A: undefined
A: You have to use a phone or tablet. Might be able to put the app on a computer.
Q: Does the camera record clips of movement or sound while the live feed is open?
A: Unfortunately no it does not.
A: This purchase was a gift. I have not heard any compliants from the recipient other than the sound not working properly on the app
