After limited research, i determined that Panamax was the best brand and recommended by the magnolia side of Best Buy. This particular unit went on sale and i snatched one up. This is a type of product that you will give you the assurance that IF a terrible storm and surge runs through your house, the equipment plugged in to this are likely covered. Thanks best buy and thanks to the associates in Magnolia that put me on to this brand.

I've slowly replaced my old dying generic surge protectors with Panamax products. I like these 'cause it has 1GB ethernet surge protection. Most only have 100MB ethernet. You can add a coax and/or av module(s) if necessary.

Returned item to store w/I 2 wks; I had asked for a surge protector for my new 4K TV. Instead I was sold this item which was for a network of computers for a small business. I returned and was helped by another employee who knew exactly what I needed. He was puzzled as to why I was sold the Panamax.
