It’s an amazing microwave but the child lock feature is insanely annoying.. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried fiddling with it slamming the door open and closed trying to deactivate my food or struggling to tell people how to deactivate it CONSTANTLY and if you forget the manual or lose it good luck trying to open it or searching online for a manual. Yeah you can just push one button and it unlocks but it’s so annoying having to constantly push it to open the door push it to set the timer push it to open over and over. If you already have food in the microwave also it’s harder to deactivate. Sometimes it activates on its own. It might seem simple to pass but it’s like entering a password on your phone once you’ve already got Face ID. Or imagine trying to open the fridge door and having it locked. It’s an annoying minor inconvenience. Makes me want to throw it out. But besides that it’s flawless microwave! This is a 1 yr review, sensor reheat works well but make sure you use moist foods to extract vapors from and use as intended. Because it will overheat and dry out your food if it’s already dry. Power levels work well also! Popcorn and milk / coffe setting works nice! My last microwave I always had to set more time.

Needed a microwave to replace my 14 year old Kenmore microwave which after years of great, dependable service had now gone to microwave heaven. Panasonic was highly recommended online, so I decided to give it a try. I loved the large size, the various functions provided, and the reasonable price tag. After several weeks, I can say that I made the right decision. I am very much pleased with its look and performance, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to buy a microwave.

Was a great value for the price. Instructions on how to use good. Cooking, defrosting, reheating my coffee....all good. Haven't had a problem with anything that I have nuked. Only problem, which I only consider a "tiny" one is with the tab at the bottom right that opens the door takes some presure, which makes the Microwave move a bit on the tile counter top.

This microwave was the perfect size for the space I had, met my power needs, and looked attractive. It was advertised for a few dollars less at another retailer, but they had none in any of their stores. I think it might have been a bait and switch, as a more expensive Panasonic was prominently in stock. Best Buy had it in stock and available that day. Happy with the purchase.

Microwave works great,looks good,and is easy to clean. The sound it makes when it is done is not loud and obnoxious. Its actually very pleasant compared to my old Microwave, and that is important to my quality of life.

Bought an LG a year ago and barely heated the food. What should've taken 30 seconds took 2 minutes. This microwave is quite the opposite, in a good way. What should take 30 seconds takes just that ans it's hot.....very satisfied!!!!! The LG was the same wattage and slightly smaller.

Great microwave and it does what it’s supposed to do. No issues. The only thing I don’t like is when it’s finished you have to press zero to unlock the door so you can open it. Other than that, it’s great.

Great purchase works well. Has a lock button every time you start the microwave and have to click the button to unlock the door. I’m guessing it’s a safety feature. Takes awhile to get used to. Overall good microwave.

A very nice microwave. Pros: You can set the exact minutes & seconds of the food you wish to cook. Cons; Has a child safety lock. You can disable it, but if you lose power, it resets and will have the child lock back on again. So keep the instructions handy to alway know how to disable the child saftey lock feature. Also pressing the numbers... Appears you have to be spot on perfect when you press them or it won't accept your input.

We just bought this microwave today. Upon getting it home and out of the box we realized it was damaged (large dents on top and side). So back to Best Buy we went to return. We exchanged for another of this same model. We get the new one home. No denting, but something is off. The door does not align with the control panel and appears crooked. The door does open and close fine, so that appears to be cosmetic. The stainless steel wrap as i will call it does bulge out slightly at the top, again really appears to be cosmetic. The most annoying thing is this one does not sit level on the countertop. It wobbles when you open or close the door or touch it. The original one with the dents did not do this, nor did our old microwave so no it is not our countertop it is the microwave. Tired of driving back and forth 30 minutes each way to Best Buy, we stuck a rubber foot on the bottom of the microwave to level it and decided to live with this one. It gets two stars because it is functional. But $200 is way overpriced. Nothing about the microwave is square and it looks cheap and janky because of the misaligned door, bulging stainless steel wrap, and unlevel footing. We recommend picking a different brand given the issues with the 2 out of 2 we brought home today. These clearly have some design problems.

I purchased the oven because of the name. Big mistake. Inside started rusting in the corners. Now peeling off onto the food. Only had it for a year and I have to replace it. It looks like Panasonic has lost it's value. What a shame. Will not be replacing it with the same brand.

This microwave is sleek looking. It is powerful and easy to use. I really like the buttons that let you cook with presets. It fits nicely under the cabinets with plenty of room to spare. I would definitely recommend this product.
