We were looking for a new microwave that was easy and simple. I like that it heats up left overs evenly. It’s very powerful yet quiet. It’s also a perfect fit on our countertop. Would recommend this microwave if you’re looking for something to just heat up food. Btw..haven’t tried all the other functions.
I used to have a Sharp microwave that I had purchased about 15 years ago and served me well. It didn’t do a whole lot except warm coffee in the mornings each day and on weekends maybe sometimes or during the week I could reheat food or if there were ever leftovers. It was an 1100 W unit and did well. It finally gave its life willingly and I was in the market to get a replacement after a little looking I found this Panasonic 1100 W unit and it really does well. I think the magnetron in my old one had become old because this one heats things very quickly and also has a sensor controlled for heating certain food items. The internal dimensions on this unit even though it’s identical in Wattage to the old unit and is slightly smaller by only 1 inch and a half but it still works for my needs. My only gripe at this time is that after only five weeks of use the glass turntable plate on the inside has developed two in line shards or cracks that were not there before. Overall I can’t fault this microwave it really is designed well and I’ve known people who had Panasonic’s for years we’ve had no issues at all

This is the third Panasonic microwave we have had and it is the second largest one in size & cooking power. It is ideal size for us now that our children are grown. It warms left overs fast & cooks frozen foods in just minutes. It saves time & money by not using the gas stove to cook and heat up the house that would have to be cooled by the AC.

Solid basic but with enough features and power to do what we need.

Love it. Perfect size for our oddly sized opening. Nice and spacious inside.

I WAS REPLACING MY MICROWAVE AND GOT ON BESTBUY WEBSITE. THEY HAD MANY UNITS TO CHOOSE FROM. I BOUGHT ONE THAT HAD THE BIGGEST CAPACITY AND THE HIGHEST WATTAGE. THE STAINLESS STEEL OUTSIDE IS VERY CLASSY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THERE IS NO LIGHT INSIDE WHEN THE DOOR IS OPEN.

This microwave is smaller in size but is 1100 watt. Most directions on packages are set up for 1100 wattage, no guess work to have to add more time. Very attractive in black and stainless. Very user friendly. Was moderately priced.

Good microwave for day to day use with 1100w power, would have been nice if the options and numbers were backlit

Had to buy this one cuz it will fit the slot I have in my kitchen. It's a good buy but takes longer to warm up food and can only fit medium sized bowls or plates. I would recommend this if you have a small kitchen or if you have an apartment

I needed a new one mostly for popcorn and quick food heat ups! It cooks really fast. The programmed popcorn buttons will burn your popcorn so through trail and error I set it to 1 min and take it out between 56-59 seconds (snack size). Somehow it doesn't taste as good as it did when my old one would only pop half the bag...more butter to go around I guess. Although I read how it doesn't light up when you open the door, I decided to give it a try. I can't say I love that feature but I'm getting use to it... The Best Buy salesman told me Panasonic made the best microwaves so I'm hoping it will hold up a good period of time.

Bought this one cuz it will fit the small slot I have in my kitchen. It is small but it does a great job of warming our food.

Just bought this today to replace my noisy malfunctioning LG microwave. Wow, what a difference. This Panasonic is so much quieter than the LG model and so far, has not tripped my circuit breaker like the LG model did. My Panasonic does the job it’s supposed to. The digital display is bright and easy to see. The control panel is easy to read too with white numbers and letters on a dark gray background. When cooking is done, beeps are pleasantly audible but not so loud they will wake the neighbors. The interior does not light up when you open the door. However, the interior is bright white and thus reflects the kitchen lights so everything inside is easily visible. The interior DOES light up during the cooking cycle. The microwave is slippery so when opening the door or pushing buttons on the control panel the microwave will slide backwards, depending on your surface. Lucky for me, I had a spare roll of shelf/drawer liner in the pantry (see photo) and cut some up to make four 3x3 inch pads for the four feet on the bottom of the microwave. Problem solved, no more sliding! BTW, the drawer liner is NOT the paper-thin type but the thicker rubbery padded type which is only a few bucks per roll at the local discount store, like Walmart in the kitchen supplies section. I’m taking my LG microwave to the recycle center after less than 18 months of use, it was that bad. I am happy with this Panasonic and can easily recommend it. This review is subject to change based on my future experience with the microwave.

I had a slightly larger microwave that stopped working, so this smaller 1100W microwave fit the bill perfectly. Easy to use and cooks great. Here is why I knocked a star off: 1) No light when the door is opened...but on when cooking. 2) A second or so of loud transformer hum when you first start cooking. 3) The feet are hard plastic, so it moves around quite a bit on the countertop when you open the microwave door...as it is a push in to open type door. Otherwise, exactly what I expected. Item 1 is annoying, but no big deal. Item 3 is annoying, but I just need to find some rubber feet to put around the plastic ones...stick on rubber feet didn't seem to stay stuck as the bottom of the hard plastic feet is not solid.

My previous Panasonic microwave just died after 22 years. Since it lasted me that long, I had to get a Panasonic. This model is a great value for the price point. I wasn't looking for a bells and whistles microwave, so this fits the bill perfectly. The size and look is nice with the stainless on black, and it works great too. I have no complaints.

This microwave is a great appliance. Perfect size for countertops. It is powerful and cooks well. The sensor cook is very functional. Price was good. The only thing I don’t like is the interior light comes on only while cooking.

I got this microwave because it fit my space perfectly. Very basic microwave without many bells and whistles. Only 3 negatives for me: 1. The light stays off when you open the door. The light only turns on when you start the cooking 2. No quick 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 min buttons (I got spoiled with my old microwave) 3. When I microwave milk for my daughter it feels uneven (some parts are very hot and some are still cold). So everything has to get mixed. Over all decent and you get what you pay for.

Nice and sleek design, love the stainless steel. A lot more powerful in wattage than our last microwave. No complaints and it does a great job warming. Easy to clean. Easy to use.

I wasn't sure I would like this microwave (I bought it because it had most of my desired requirements: was larger than one cubic foot, was more than 1000 watt cooking setting-it's 1100 watts, and was nicely priced as I bought when it was on sale). Previous microwaves had had a potato button. This one doesn't. Instead it has a button with a 7 level setting. I actually like it better once I got used to it. Level one is for potatoes. Level 3 is for frozen vegetables. With previous microwave, potato setting did not cook frozen corn on the cob, had to add time. Now use setting 3 for corn and comes out right.

We chose this microwave oven to replace another of a different brand that we purchased about a year ago. As always, we bought a "protection plan" since most of the countertop models we've owned seem to fail within two years, regardless of the manufacturer. This appliance runs quietly, has an interior light that's on only during the cooking cycle, and has adequate power for cooking or reheating food and beverages quickly. The controls are easy to understand and use, but should have been backlit. The mid-size is large enough for most cooking jobs. This mic. oven also has four rubber feet that keep the oven firmly in place on the countertop when you close/open the door or push the power buttons, (good idea). If the engineers would design a door that could close as quietly as it opens, it would be five stars.
