Build quality is good, and appearance is just fine. However....as others have noted....there is about a 5/8 inch open gap between the trim piece and the microwave on all four sides. I think It could have been a tighter fit, but Panasonic chose to design it this way....I have grown to like it.

Installed with the panasonic microwave NN-SD681S, as recommended. It has a gap in the front that is very noticeable. This gap does not make it look like a built in. The trim kit is easy to install.

I bought the Panasonic NN-NG68KS and purchased three 27" trims following the manual, the match on the Panasonic website and Best Buy recommendation (NN-TK623S, NN-TK621SS AND NN-TK922SS) and none of them worked. The inside of the trim is way to big for my microwave that only measures 20 1/8" wide by 11 5/8" high. I called Encompass and they don't know and it's impossible to get anyone from Panasonic on the phone. Worst experience ever!!! One of the reasons i purchased this microwave was because it could be put in a cabinet with a trim. It was never installed, I'm returning it.

DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK !!!!!! What Best Buy fails to realize is by the time you get the correct parts for the 4 in 1 Oven, its too late to send back the JUNK they recommended. Its like flushing money down the drain with this Best Buy and they know it. Imagine Best Buy, its TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO GET Parts and contractors to install. So know we have this JUNK part that DOES NOT go to the 4 in 1 Oven and we can not return it. POOR POOR options for return.

Not a bad product but Best Buy was unable to provide the correct trim kit for the in-cabinet microwave I purchased. I was sold two different kits and neither fit my microwave. I still have not been able to source the correct trim kit. Pretty frustrated.
