Love this lens
Takes amazing photos. Ive used this lens on both the S5 and S5IIX and both take incredible macro shots but the improved AF in the S5IIX makes shooting that much easier and snappier. Cant go wrong using it on on either set up though

Excellent Macro and Portrait Lens
The LUMIX S 100mm f/2.8 Macro is an impressive addition to Panasonic’s full-frame lineup. The sharpness and detail are outstanding, even wide open at f/2.8. Autofocus is quick and accurate, and the compact, lightweight design makes it perfect for handheld shooting. I’ve used it for both macro and portrait work — the background separation is beautiful and the rendering feels very natural. If you enjoy product, nature, or close-up photography, this lens delivers professional results in a small package. Highly recommended for any L-mount user.

Great lens
This lens is very unique. It’s small and light for a macro lens, making the form factor perfect for the S9 camera. The images are nice and sharp. It isn’t the fastest lens at 2.8, but definitely good enough to get you some nice low light performance. It’s an awesome lens, especially at this price point.
