28 -200 mm is a huge range, it’s so versatile so much fun to use. Optical image stabilization is very steady, when combined with IBIS it can be very effective. I can take a long exposure photo hand held with no problem. As a bonus you can also shoot pretty decent macro shots. It does have variable aperture, under low light it can be a little bit of a torture test if you shoot from far away.

Probably one of the most versatile lens from Lumix, particularly when combined with the Lumix Hybrid Zoom feature on the S9. Excellent for travel photography or just day-to-day shooting. I caught it on sale for less than I could've purchased it used from one of the major used gear stores.

This is a pretty good lens and I like the macro capability, but f7.1 at 200mm is tough and I noticed a lack of sharpness when using it handheld zoomed in to 200mm. I had thought the OIS would counter my body shake. Since I rarely use a tripod this became an issue for me so I returned the lens. It's well built, light, and high quality.

This lens is great for everyday lens carry. Very light and compact for the focal length that it provides. Great lens for travel. Kinda plasticky but is for a reason, This is to keep the lens as light as possible. Optically is very good for what it does.

This lens has been fantastic for me and is now always on my s5ii... I mainly shoot during the day and outside mostly so the low light issues I never run into... I am a novice photographer/videography but so far my pictures and videos look great... I like my purchase and do recommend this lens.

The focal range is very useful for travel. Small aperture range limits low light use but that is a tradeoff for being so compact
