I purchased the Papago GoSafe S37 Dash Cam because it has a port for an external monitor. I'm still trying to get my external monitor to work with it. I've hooked it up with a cable, yet must be doing something wrong? I still like and value the camera very much and don't have any regrets purchasing it. Best Buy also had the best price (even over the other major Online outlets). If I were going to purchase again, I'd probably go with the GoSafe S780 which has a rear wireless camera that ties into a front one like this one. That way, I wouldn't be messing around with hooking up another monitor.

This camera works very well. It does not restrict my view. The only issue is the annoying noise at every stop sign alerting you that there is a stop sign. I think there is a button to turn it off but I haven’t had time to research it yet. Overall a great camera. Installed at Best Buy and only took about 35 minutes.

In order to turn off the Stop Sign Recognition feature push the down arrow key to bring up the dashcam's settings, then scroll down to the Driving Safely option then push the OK button. On the next screen of options, scroll down until you see the Stop Sign Recognition feature highlighted in yellow then push the OK button, next you'll be able to turn the feature off. Bought this because a car ran a red light and got hit. Wish I had a dash cam. Video quality looks great even at night. Easy to set up and use. Comes with a memory card!

I feel this is an average device. The car footage looks like the cars are at afar distance that many things are not visible. I can read a license plate while close to a car and at a full stop. The footage also is in a fish eye lens look. The device has to be connected to a power source to work. The footage gets erased if not saved. To free up space. I can just use the memory card it came with. I bought the product just in case I need and have been driving safe and just have average driving footage.

Extremely satisfied with this PAPAGO - GoSafe S37, glad I got it - mostly because it reliably shoots high quality videos for your protection, but also for other reasons. I am one of the earliest adopters of dash cams in the U.S., got my first one many years ago from a no-name manufacturer, when almost nobody knew or cared about this type of product, and it saved me few times from dishonest motorists causing accidents. When selecting a dash cam, don't be distracted by features that you probably don't really need (like anything GPS-based, etc), and instead worry about the main thing - reliability of videos. If your camera doesn't take a good video of an important moment, or that particular file gets corrupted (happens more often than you think), then your camera is completely useless. The S37 takes quality videos very reliably (so far 100% reliability in about a month) - and that's the most important thing. It also has other features that could be useful for many people, like the stop sign warning, other Driver Assist Features, but they can all be turned off if you prefer. In addition to that, the camera is beautifully designed, very aesthetically pleasing, and I highly value great industrial design: among other things it tells you a lot about the manufacturer and its commitment to excellence. Also, one other underappreciated feature: S37 can be very easily removed from its mount and, because it's so small and light, carried in a pocket, or a purse, or hidden in a car when you are away. It's important because these days thieves break into cars for anything they see worth few bucks, and this beautiful camera certainly attracts their attention. I don't have time to describe in detail everything I love about S37, but this BestBuy price is making it an amazing value: even on Amazon it's $30 more expensive! Highly recommended!

The camera and screen would shut down and reset many times while driving or in motion. I've had many dash cams and this is one of the expensive version i purchased which was very disappointing It ended up getting returned to best buy.
