Bought this drone for my son for Christmas and got it in the mail today. I’m sure it’s going to be a great little drone for him, but the description from Best Buy led me to buy from them instead of a competitor at the same price because of their product description. Parrot makes a cannon shooter and grabber for this drone, according to bestbuy description, it’s included, so I thought maybe it was some special promotion they got from the manufacturer. THESE ACCESSORIES ARE NOT INCLUDED. Total letdown. Bestbuy customer service, please change the description!!!

I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing this drone and I'm very happy with my decision. Despite its short battery life, you get one heck of a 5-8min flight. Great camera and fairly easy to control. Freaks the heck out of your pets (if you have any). Lol. Down sides.. you must charge/turn things on in a specific order.. device, controller then app or something like that. Also, its pretty loud. Scared the crap out of me when I turned it on as I was not expecting it to be so loud. Very powerful for such a small drone, really gets air.

When I was a boy, I loved R/C cars. I have been thinking to get an R/C car for a while, but I saw this drone and thought that it might be a better and enhanced experience, so I gave it a try. WOW! It really brought the child back on me. LOL. The goggles view is awesome and the drone is very fast. Though, the drone is very fragile and the battery last for a couple of minutes. But overall, it definitely worth the money and it is made by Parrot, one of the pioneers in consumer drones.

The mambo is good, good control, stable, easy to fly, high quality. The fpv though is not yet there, bad resolution, drains the battery to 4 min, bit disappointing.

This drone is quite simple a great value for the cost. Crisp controls and goes very fast, flips and take great video and photos.

Camera is ok for the price, stability is very good. Only issue is that the battery runs off in less than 8 minutes (with camera on). For 150 bucks it could last a little longer.

Purchased this Parrot Mambo drone for ten year old grandson for Christmas. He is definitely loving it and having a great time. I realize the ratio of charge time to fly time, 30 mins to 10 mins is a little frustrating for a kid, but I understand that it takes this long for even a beginner drone. To make his user time last a little longer, his mom purchased a charge station that hold three batteries at once from Amazon. My only wish is that I would have liked to see this available at Best Buy at time of purchase so I could have included it with his gift. They do not carry any additional batteries for this model. Otherwise, a very good choice for a beginner.

Cons: setting this up with the flypad and downloading the app for video mode is extremely complicated, and Battery life is horrible. Pros: easy for my son to use and guards/propellers pop on and off for collisions so nothing is too badly broken. I should've spent the extra cash for something nicer to avoid these headaches. Buying an extra battery is recommended to have more than 10mins of play time.

It definitely is smaller in reality than on the picture, but overall the small size is great because being small, one doesn't have to register it with the FAA. Also it can be flown inside the house (if you have a good floor plan. Perhaps not good for apartment or townhouse). The initial setup was easy (inserting the battery in the drone and charging the remote controller, as well as downloading the app). This came with a camera, it took some playing around to get it to work, there is no click or snap sound, so it is difficult to know when the camera is settled and making contact. The phone app took a while to get it to work properly. At first, it would connect only to the drone without the video capability. Instructions weren't clear, turns out that after the initial time the app prompts you to find the "wifi" drone name in the settings of the phone, the next time you have to go do it, without the app prompting you to do so. I found that out by trial and error because I didn't know what I needed to do to use the FPV (first person view) side of the app. The takeoff and landing functions with the push of a button are great. The sensor at the bottom of the drone senses the proximity of surfaces, and that's what allows it to take off and hover, or land slowly and nicely. When you're on FPV mode using the glasses , and since the phone is inside the glasses, it begins to vibrate to alert you that the drone is running empty of charge, so if you're roaming away from the landing place or you don't have direct physical view of the drone it is nice as you can bring it back to land near you via the glasses before it goes battery dead. All in all, great entry drone, just recommend forking out a bit more money to get a drone with more than 15 minute battery life or a second battery so you can enjoy more.

Extremely easy drone to fly indoors and out! Highly recommended if you’ve never owned a drone! My four year old can use it with competence! Camera option is great and fun with goggles ! Flips and other accessories are fun as well! I purchased the canon for it and actually shoots pretty far! Battery could last longer but other than that Highly recommended!

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! It is easy to control and also does tricks. It also has the fpv goggles which allow you to fly from the first person perspective with the included camera attachment. So much fun! I’ve even used the fpv feature for practical purposes inspecting the top of my chimney. What a great drone!

I would of gave it five stars however it is a bit pricey and the camera can pop off when doing stunts however with the remote is much better than with the phone alone. It takes a bit of getting use to in first person view however the learning process I found fun and also I hope to be able to bone with my niece and fly drones with her. If you have kids I highly recommend that you buy two so you can have fun and spend time with the ones who matter most in life. I ended up getting this drone because I bought the DJI Mavic and it got stolen in the parking lot at Best Buy the very same day I bought it and never got to use it. However I'm glad I got this drone because it is more child friendly and like I said before created an opportunity to bond with my little munchkin. Now hopefully one day I can save enough money to get a big buy drone. However it probably wont be a DJI because they are a horrible company and refused to help me find my drone or offer me a discount to replace the drone I never got to fly.

Over all for a toy drone it is well made. It has taken quite a few falls. I got this for my daughter. The distance on it is good enough for a kid to learn on and the camera take decent pics and video. Does not come with sd card. Would definitely get extra batteries and a multiple battery charger because flight time on one battery is under 10 min

It is smaller and lighter than I thought. Easy operation. I want you to raise the resolution of camera a little more.

I would have given it a higher rating, except that the viewer is kind of a pain to setup, in fact we've ditched that feature and my son just enjoys flying the drone. Also the battery life is pretty short. If your looking for a fast, easy to control beginner drone this would work great.

I’m into drones. I have dji’s and 3dr. This is a good alternative if you can’t fly outside. It’s stable compared to toy drones because it has sensors pointed down but not as stable as a dji spark. Video latency is manageable but quite annoying if there’s a lot of Wi-Fi traffic. Cons: it goes into sleep mode after less than a minute. The only way to wake it up is by launching it. I wish there’s an option to disable sleep

I love this drone! It flies well, it is ver stable and responsive. My ONLY beef is that the flight time is INCREDIBLY short (because of the smaller battery) and the app is a tad glitchy. However, all you need to do is buy another battery.

I was concerned about the way the drones hovered and flew easily. This is very customizable allowing you to set height at take off and other. The battery life is short, buy extra batteries

Bought this for my son. Drone works well. It is fast and moves well. Only problem is battery life. Consider a back up. Range is good given the price.
