Some improvements but some fails.

We bought this to replace our DC 15 that was quite old that performed well over its lifetime. The suction on the new is pretty impressive, the two areas that we really don't like are the way the wand sets in its cradle and this model doesn't have a pedal to release the upper body from the lower when preparing to vacuum, you push down until it breaks free which feels like a future failure point.
