Customer Ratings & Reviews

It was Halloween and the little boy got taken. The marriage was bad.

I ordered this dvd when I saw it on sale, even though I had never heard of it. I don't leave spoilers but I have to say that this is a pretty good thriller/scary movie. It doesn't rely on jarring noises or an abundance of blood & guts in order to deliver a scare. Rather, it actually has an interesting story with enough creep factor to get the adrenaline pumping. I watch tons of movies & I'll admit that I am often disappointed. That was not the case with Pay The Ghost. Great acting & it kept my attention until the very end. I liked it & I'm surprised that I had never heard of it before. I love it when I accidentally come across such a good movie!

Now I'm a Nicolas Cage fan and a lot of his movies well more of his recent stuff have been average not his best work but average. Now in this film to me it was interesting and had me wanting more. The plot was good as it is a extremely scary thought of losing your child and not being able to find them at the time, I honestly like this movie up until the ending it was just to fake and cgi for me it should have been more realism but at the same time I like the ending as well, you would have to watch it as I'm not a giveaway type of person on how the movie rides...

Nicolas Cage has done a lot of go to videos lately, and if your like me, everything he is in is usually fantastic. This little thriller is a creepy, action packed film, which really boasts Cage's acting ability. You feel what he is feeling, and you have to follow him throughout the movie, because it captivates you from beginning to end. Highly recommended, pick it up..

Actually purchased this as a gift and throat recipient loved it so I'm off for my copy. Review rating is based off of recipient reaction

Cage has been around for awhile. I was surpised with the plot but it did work with Cage's artistic ability.

another favorite of my actors he does a lot of different movies which I like in an actor

Pay the Ghost Nicolas Cage is in a desperate search to find his missing child. One year after his son disappeared, he is haunted by terrifying images. He will stop at nothing to unravel the mystery, and find his missing son. Like all of Cages movies lots of action and surprises.

Not one of his best but a good movie to sit back and watch during the weekend.

Another gem of a movie from Nicolas Cage. Can't go wrong with this movie.

chilling thriller and mystery movie about the disappeared of their son.

I am a big Nicolas Cage fan. This was one of his better movies as of recently (his best performance since the movie JOE). Pay the Ghost reminds me of Insidious movies. Good movie, plot, and acting. If you liked Insidious you'll like Pay The Ghost.

Another great Nicholas Cage movie great plot excellent story line

This was a OK entertaining movie great for adults and children

A movie about the love of a family trying to find their son.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE. IT HAS SUCH A GREAT STORY LINE TO IT.

This movie was alright, I would recommend seeing this movie but just know that there are better movies with Nic cage. Overall it was a decent watch and would recommend it to anyone who like Nicolas cage as an actor

This wasn't a bad flick at all... I would actually rate it at 3.75. Good acting by Nick Cage. The story was pretty good for the genre (this film falls into the horror genre which is my least favorite).

I didnt see any previews for this movie in theatres but happened to catch it on video. The movie turned out great and is one of my favorite nicholas cage movies.

this is a very good movie..... love the actors and the story line nothing like things he has been in before a must watch if you do not buy it but i am glad i did
