A: Yes that is correct. This will plug into any standard outlet. You will also need to download the app and sync it with the plug. It's probably a 5-minute process but not bad.

Instead our Peace by Hampton Smart Wi-Fi bulb may be more suited for your use. It features a range of 16 million color hues and 50,000 shades of whites to deliver custom ambiance.

Q: I have the new 5 G router will this work with that???
A: You need a dual band with 2.4g to work the plug. Most routers have this. Won't work on 5 g.
