Peacemaker doesn’t seem like a show that should work. James Gunn took one of the true villains of The Suicide Squad – an abrasive jerk willing to betray his teammates to cover up the horrific sins of the U.S. government – and asks us to care about his motivations and even view him as a hero. None of that would have worked if Gunn gave Peacemaker aka Chris Smith an easy time of things. But in many ways, Peacemaker is the crystallization of the themes.

Good Series: Lots of Laughs and Action!! Looking forward to Season 2 when it premieres!!

It truly is amazing to me how through the character development and surprisingly amazing acting by John Cena, the character you were rightfully meant to despise in Suicide Squad, becomes one one the best characters in all of the recent DC media. Remarkable!

This show is much better than it has a right to be. James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) took a low-level villain (played for maximum humor by John Cena) from Suicide Squad and actually makes you care about him. Well done, Gunn! Note: series is not rated, but I'd call it a "Hard R" - and it takes advantage of that fact.

Love shopping at Best Buy. They seem to always have what I want and the staff is always willing to go over and above. Keep up the good work.

The opening almost out does the series. Great series although there’s one flaw that I hope they fix in the 2nd season which has been confirmed.

This is one of the funniest, and earnest, TV shows I've ever seen. John Cena has never been better, giving a top-notch performance with his dead-pan line deliveries. He gives his character added depth, which was only hinted at in THE SUICIDE SQUAD. Thank goodness this survived the whole Warner Bros Discovery/HBO Max drama, and has been renewed for a second season.
