Peak Design - Everyday Backpack 20L Zip - Black

I was not too sure if I was going to like this bag. I am a huge Peak Design fan, as I own just about everything they offer. I LOVE all of their bags and accessories. They seem to never disappoint. However, I never liked the 20L/30L 1st gen Everyday Backpack. I did not like the way it looked nor did I like the way the latched left a gap at the top. With that being said, I am happy to say that this 20L zip bag is a much better option! I love getting in through the sides (easier than the 1st gen because the zip can extend further to get to what you need. If you do not prefer side access then I do not suggest any one of these bags as they all open from the sides only. However, this backpack opens very nicely on the sides as they are super-fast with the new ultra zip zoom zippers they designed just for this bag. I was able to fit the following and STILL had room for more Sony A7III with a 35mm Zeiss Prime attached 28-75mm Tamron Lens 85mm Prime Lens DJ Mavic Air + 2 Batteries (I do not leave batteries in my drone) + Remote + Accessories Hero 8 + Adapters/Accessories 2 Sony Batteries + 4 GoPro batteries Raybans Phone Slim Wallet 16 Inch Macbook Pro Airpods Hand Strap Neck Strap Nintendo Switch (in a case) Random SD Cards + Camera accessories + Filters Keep in mind that I still had a lot more for extra gear at the top. It took. while, but once you get the system down you can get to your gear is a breeze. I made it so I can access all my gear regardless of which side I pull my stuff from. I DO NOT like to squeeze my stuff in, so I was able to fit all of this in with no struggle. Pros: Design, quality, ease of use, carefully thought-out, no wasted space, comfortable, stands up when placed down and does holds its shape when empty or not full, great organization (ability to get to your stuff fast), the magnets everywhere (to keep this clean) Cons: Bag configuration/organization can be annoying at first, grabbing handle at the top sometimes scrapes fingers on zippers, pockets near laptop eat into the main compartment if filled too much, backpack straps left dangling with nothing to keep them from flopping around (this happens with every backpack, but it is unlike Peak Design to not offer a cleaner aesthetic). This back is wonderful for anyone looking to upgrade from the 1st gen 20L everyday Backpack or looking to explore the wonderful life of side access. If you are a fan of putting your camera bags down to get to everything at once, then I suggest looking elsewhere!

An outstanding back pack. I use it all the time for work, going up the park, etc. Plenty of space and comfortable.

Nice size and totally customizable inside, but the zippers are a little fussy. Takes an effort to open it.

Expensive, but with a lifetime warranty and storage versatility it is my EDC bag. The materials are top notch and the customer service is amazing. I had a problem with the main zipper and they replaced my bag for me quickly.

I was looking for a camera bag with a high-quality build that I can use during the day and when traveling. This backpack exceeded my expectations, totally recommendable.
