picked this up for 30, comes with a physical cartridge but you still need to download the game

The best game I have ever played in the 15 years of gaming. This game is super fun. First time I’ve ever played the series.

In every iteration, Persona 3 is one of my favorite experiences I’ve had in media. However, my favorite version was always Persona 3 Portable on the PSP. Despite all its cutbacks, I think Persona just works better as a handheld series. Persona 3 Reload is a wonderful remake of one of the best games out there, and this switch 2 version is a solid way to play it. However, the port definitely leaves a bit to be desired. It’s a solid version of the game, very much on par (and in some cases a bit better) than its PS4 counterpart, but it was clearly rushed and under resourced. It looks like Atlus only had 4 people assigned to this porting job, and it shows. The game launched in a rough state, they shelved the switch 1 port, and even after updates this version still isn’t where it should be. I’m not expecting it to be 4K60 with ray tracing like the high end console and PC versions, but ~1080p60 in tv mode and 1080p30 in handheld is a bit underwhelming. By no means is this a game that needs a high frame rate, but it should be more than possible in handheld mode. It’s one of the very few switch 2 ports that is better on steam deck. I don’t think Atlus has tapped into any DLSS features yet for their Switch 2 ports, and they really should. So far they’ve been far closer to the ps4 versions than the ps5 ones, which is very concerning for the upcoming Metaphor port and it’s really odd that they haven’t confirmed P4 Revival for the switch 2 yet. Overall, this is a fine version of a phenomenal game, but I’m hoping that my favorite studio can improve in the future.

About 10 hours in and love the new quality. Saw complaints of the 30fps but its not an action game and it hasnt at all affected my experience. I wish it was a real cartridge, I ordered online on sale and didn’t realize if was a game key card until i picked up. It was $10 cheaper than the eshop sale so still a good deal. Game key cards need to go Nintendo.

One of the best JRPGs remade and it’s amazing on Switch 2. Great gameplay, great story, OST is one of the best ever, and it’s worth the price. Only downside about the game is handheld where it’s 30 fps compared to 60 on TV, but in a game such as this it really doesn’t matter too much. Major downside is that the “physical” version is a game-key card.

So far it is an incredible game, great gameplay, story, and an incredible soundtrack. HIGHLY recommend. and Best Buy also shipped it and arrived a day before release so I'm not complaining at all, great service for a great game

Persona is a series that speaks for itself. If you're coming here, you've probably already played 5. If not, I would suggest playing that one first, as it is peak Persona. However, this game is really good. The music, graphics, story, everything you want on a JRPG, it's all there. My only gripe would be that it's not fully voiced over. But never the less, very good game. I give it a solid 9/10.

Normally I’m not much of a gamer but I fell in LOVE with the persona series. It’s tradition of having a wide range of loving characters with different personalities and stories to tell along with the grinding type of gameplay loop makes it the perfect recurring game series in my opinion with this entry being no exception!

Really amazing game so far, I have gotten through a couple of sections, and the graphics are amazing. I have already played Persona 5 Royal on this Switch, and this game is a major improvement compared to the Switch edition. It just kind of sucks that it's locked to a game key card, though the game itself is really good.

This game is a beast. No complaints from me, and a must for JRPG fans or really anyone who wants a good story. Game Key card issues some people have been pointless since there is no real backdraft on its usage, play, or other limitations.

Persona is an amazing series, having the games remade for modern consoles gives new comers a chance to experience the world, the characters, and the adventure that each game has to offer.

The game itself is still considered one of the best JRPG remakes available. Critics consistently praised the story, characters, soundtrack, combat improvements, and modernized presentation but it has frame pacing issues and stuttering problems sometimes.

The game is great but the price Best Buy had it for and the speedy delivery was really great!! Got this as a gift for someone and it made it to its destination perfectly! Keep up the great work Best Buy

This is a great game, the only problem is the switch 2 port runs just ok, looks great but very uneven frame pacing and bam framedrops put a slight damper on the experience. Besides that the game is not on the cartidge, so there is really no reason to buy it physically.

Be aware this is a game key card. So you still beed to download the game. But the game itself is amazing.

It's a great game. It's a quality port after doing an update. You get a nice image quality with 30fps on the handheld but it also has a performance mode that upgrades that to 60fps for TV mode, it's a great time and I would recommend it.

The addition of performance mode while docked makes this a far better release than the demo presented it. Buttery smooth 60fps.

I like that the game is visually gorgeous and they even added a performance mode for bettee fps.
