Do you love JRPGs? How about life sims? Or do you enjoy *style*, dope music, unique turn based combat, and general wackiness with an amazing story? You will NOT regret playing this game!! Withing the first 10 minutes I knew this game was something special like no other. I could not possibly put my love for this game into words, it is beyond fun, entertaining, the story sucks you in, this game is so incredibly polished and thought out! I have never seen a game with so much STYLE!! They've somehow managed to make turn based combat fresh and exciting, no more "scroll and select" style that gets repetitive fast, honestly you just have to play it and see. If you don't mind some silliness mixed in with intense storylines, then I can't imagine someone *not* being enamoured by this game. I consider persona to be final fantasy's cool older brother. It is most similar to fire emblem, but again completely unique in just about every department. I could not recommend this game enough (unless you hate fun). Lots of philosophical themes as well, it's goofy, makes you think, heartwarming, exciting, beautiful, and plain old FUN all wrapped into one game. 10/10!!!

I’m playing on Switch 2, the game is good but the performance is pretty bad, it’s locked at 30 fps and the resolution is low. It could very easily run at 60+ fps at a higher resolution but there is no Switch 2 update it’s still running the Switch 1 version of the game. If you want a portable version of the game then this is fine but if you have a pc I would get it on steam instead.

Persona 5 Royal is a great role-playing game for the Nintendo Switch. Great characters, gameplay, story and the graphics are insanely good! If you have a Switch 2 pick it up on that too it's an amazing video game!

Despite the game being out for years I was still VERY excited to get my hands on it! I have just gotten to my second palace with almost 30 hrs on the game but it was worth every dollar!!! If you don't mind lots of dialogue and being forced to do things in game than this is certainly great for you !!! Personally I got the game specifically for Ryuji and I am wringing it for my money's worth.

A long and rewarding gaming for traditional turn based RPG and JRPG games. Visual flair and music keep it fun even when you’re tens of hours in. Be prepared for likable characters, and good story development. Combat doesn’t get too convoluted and getting to see all of the Personas and read about them is a treat.

One of the best jrpgs that I have ever played. The music and style are some of the best in video games and the characters and gameplay will keep you hooked and playing for dozens of hours. Only gripe of mine is that it is a tad bit too long but if thats my only complaint then thays a good sign I'd say!

I purchased this video game for my god daughter. She is absolutely engrossed by the storyline. She is at the age where everything is cool one day and lame the next. That is OK, she is at an age where children are discovering who they are. It is important to find games that show children they are not alone, that everyone goes through these changes. She loves Japanese Anime and is swiftly approaching High School age. This game is about everything she loves. Hanging out with friends. A strong sense of justice, and what is right and what is wrong. Simply put, she loves it! Thank you so much for bringing this video game to my attention. I've been her hero for nearly two weeks. She absolutely loves to tell me everything about it. I love listening to anything she is passionate about. I love my godchildren and I am so glad that she found a series that she can grow up with. You see? My godson is easy, he gets a lot of attention and loves the typical things 10 year olds love. Pokémon, Zelda, and Harry Potter. She is much more reserved and shopping for her has become rather difficult over the years. This was a home run. I couldn't have done better if I could read her mind itself. Thank you so much!

Excellent game with strong characters and a compelling story. The gameplay is a mix of social simulation and dungeon crawling, with your daily choices and friendships affecting your combat prowess and even the storyline.

Great game! I haven't played through it much yet but I am enjoying it a lot so far! I am happy that Best Buy was able to prepare my order to be ready for pickup so quickly since I bought this during Black Friday week and that is usually one of the busiest times of the year. I bought a new copy and it was perfectly sealed so I am glad it wasn't torn or in a bad condition. I bought this along with Kirby's Return to DreamLand Deluxe and a 256GB microSD XC card. The Best Buy employees were very nice and helpful when I had trouble accessing the locker to get one of my items.

I've been a fan of the persona games for a while and decided to get persona 5 as my first nintendo switch game and i'm sure glad i did! It's so fun and unique and I now know i prefer to play jrpgs on the switch compared to my PC.

There is no downgrade I think running this on Switch. I am enjoying it so far. This is probably the best Persona game I have ever played.

The ultimate final version of persona 5. Runs very smoothly on the switch and awesome to play on handheld mode as well as on the big screen.
