Looks great, sound is awful

The picture quality is great, love the lights on the back. However, the sound on the TV is terrible. It is so quiet that even turned all the way up to 100, we still couldn't hear the TV, sitting 4 feet away. We immediately ordered a sound bar and while we waited for it to arrive, I used the Roku app on my phone to connect to the TV and then used a bluetooth speaker to be able to hear it from the couch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
