I have a stained glass from when my grandparents passed. I dint have a window big enough so the backlighting made it perfect!

Extremely delicate connection and the light doesn't look seamless.

very bright and functionality wise, an excellent product. for the price i would expect some spare adhesive or better adhesive in the box but after about a week we've had about 4 of these fall off our walls, even after proper cleaning and mounting! buy some command strips to pair with this if you plan on mounting to a wall, we havent had any problems since.

Bought one base and extension. Plugged in the extension and at first it didn't work. So instead of running back to bestbuy for countless replacements, or leaving negative reviews. I simply unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Has been working flawlessly since then. The light itself is very bright and the colors are amazing!

Works well in stand alone mode, but when as part of an Entertainment Area (a Hue thing), it only has 3 zones of color, with no blending at all. So i.e., not a Gradient, but a 3 color strip. If you are not using it with a Synch Box or the Windows Sync App, then don't worry about it. But if you want it to simulate the "Play Gradient Lightstrip" (the ones that are designed for specific sized TVs, then it does not do that.

The extension strips come in handy when i need to cover empty space. Only real complaint is that the connections aren't very secure and the adhesive isnt the greatest during hot weather.

Super easy to use and extend my lights. Love the gradient lights.

I purchased this along with the basekit as an update to an older Hue lightstrip. While it may not dispay as many colors at one time compared to other brands, it works very well and integrates nicely with other Hue products.

Wish it was longer for the price. Still ended up getting use out of it, though, since these kights are very bright. Also, does not actually add more color zones to the app. Can still only choose 3 colors even though you extend the light.

I purchased this because i wanted to control it with my Hue App and Hue Tap. I put this strip on the back of my tv and it doesn't like to bend around corners. Added 4 extensions to fit a 85" tv. The extensions where very hard to connect and even one of the connectors pulled out of the strip itself.

does what it’s supposed to, easy to use and attach to base

A must have if using gradient in big rooms or spaces but short, too short especially for price. It just adds more color to the strip so it's not absorbed in big spaces. Had to get two for living room as base strip wasn't giving off enough light as needed/. Highly recommended for base but too pricy for size.

It works well with the system. No issues even with six extensions.

Works really well but comes off of the base easily. I have it under the couch and the cat gets it every time.

I ordered two gradient base lightstrips and two extensions. The bases work great, the extensions don’t work at all. I called Best Buy customer service (super helpful) and they got two new extensions shipped out the next day! Spoiler alert: The new extensions didn’t work either. Philips needs to make like J5 and work on their quality control, their products are far too expensive for this kind of inconvenience.
